King Charles<\/a> may be reconciling with Meghan Markle<\/a> next, and it\u2019s causing \u201ctension\u201d in his relationship with Prince William.<\/p>\n A source told The National Examiner<\/a> in a report published on November 18 that Charles still has a \u201csoft spot\u201d for Meghan and would like to repair his relationship with her after mending ties with her husband and his son, Prince Harry, in September<\/a>. \u201cDespite everything that\u2019s happened Charles has not turned his back on Meghan,\u201d the source said. \u201cThe more time goes by the more empathy he seems to feel for her.\u201d<\/p>\n More from SheKnows<\/strong><\/p>\n The insider added that Charles is \u201cwell aware\u201d of what Meghan, whom he once nicknamed \u201cTungsten,\u201d has done to the British royal family in her and Harry\u2019s tell-all interviews, but \u201che still believes she has a good heart.\u201d The source also claimed that Charles was \u201cgenuinely upset\u201d for Meghan after hearing about her estranged father Thomas Markle\u2019s near-death medical issues and life-saving surgeries.<\/p>\n Charles escorted Meghan down the aisle at her and Harry\u2019s 2018 wedding when her dad couldn\u2019t attend, with the insider reporting that Charles even keeps a photo of the moment on his desk. \u201cHe wants peace, not just with Harry but Meghan too, and he\u2019s quietly applying pressure from the top to make that happen,\u201d the source said.<\/p>\n Two royals who are not a fan of the reconciliation, however, are William and Charles\u2019 wife, Queen Camilla.
