Lola Young has made her first public appearance since she collapsed<\/a> mid-song at a music festival in New York City earlier this year. <\/p>\n The \u201cMessy\u201d singer attended Lily Allen\u2019s Christmas party in London on Friday, Dec. 19. <\/p>\n Young, 24, posted for photos with the host and Olivia Rodrigo, as seen in Allen\u2019s Instagram post<\/a> from the event. <\/p>\n \u201cWest End Winter Wonderland,\u201d the caption on the post read.<\/p>\n Young also broke her social media hiatus when she shared a message on her Instagram Saturday.<\/p>\n \u201cI just wanted to express gratitude to everyone who has given me time and space to gather myself and get my head in a better place. I\u2019ve felt so much love and support from you all and it has helped more than you will ever know,\u201d Young in the post<\/a>. <\/p>\n \u201cI am hoping to gradually get back to performing and continuing pursuing my dreams. Happy holidays to you all and can\u2019t wait to see you in 2026,\u201d she continued. \u201cLife is a journey, nothing is perfect but today I am doing well. All my love always, Lola.\u201d<\/p>\n The English singer previously said<\/a> she would be \u201cgoing away for a while\u201d following her collapse at the All Things Go Festival at Forest Hills Stadium in Queens, New York on Sept. 27.<\/p>\n In videos posted on social media, Young was seen swaying before dropping her microphone and falling backwards. After the performance, the \u201cOne Thing\u201d singer canceled her remaining shows<\/a> to prioritize her mental health and well-being, including performance at All Things Go Festival in Washington, D.C. the day after the onstage incident. <\/p>\n \u201cI love this job and I never take my commitments and audience for granted, so I\u2019m sorry to those who will be disappointed by this,\u201d Young wrote in an Instagram post<\/a> at the time. \u201cI hope you\u2019ll give me another chance in the future. Thank you to all those who listen and care.\u201d <\/p>\n The Grammy-nominated singer has been openly going through a difficult period prior to the collapse. The day before the incident, Young also pulled out of Audacy\u2019s We Can Survive concert at New Jersey\u2019s Prudential Center, with her manager Nick Shymansky citing a \u201csensitive matter\u201d related to mental health, Billboard reported<\/a>.<\/p>\n \u201cLola is very open about her mental health and there are very occasionally days where myself and my team have to take protective measures to keep her safe,\u201d he had previously written on Instagram. \u201cShe is an incredible person and always takes her fans, career and performances seriously. I can only send huge apologies for the inconvenience caused.\u201d <\/p>\n Young released her third studio album a week after the incident as well. <\/p>\n
