Curtis Jackson, the rapper and entrepreneur known as 50 Cent, appeared Sunday at the Caesars Superdome, greeting fans and posing with officials during the New Orleans Saints\u2019 home game against the New York Jets.<\/p>\n

Wearing a jersey bearing his last name, a gold chain and a hat featuring the fleur-de-lis, Jackson watched the game alongside the local comedian Rob Kazi. He posed for photographs with local officials, including NOPD Police Chief Anne Kirkpatrick and Gayle Benson, the Saints\u2019 owner.<\/p>\n

Jackson documented the visit in a series of Instagram posts<\/a>. One photograph shows him with his arm around Gov. Jeff Landry of Louisiana, alongside Sergio Gore, whom President Donald Trump appointed ambassador to India earlier this year. In another, Jackson posed on the field with Tyler Shough, a Saints quarterback.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n

He also shared a photograph of glasses filled with Le Chemin du Roi Champagne, produced by his beverage company Sire Spirits, which has a partnership with the Saints.<\/p>\n

During the weekend, Jackson hosted an event for his spirits brand at Treehouse, a cocktail bar in Central City, and performed at Fifths Arcade and Bar in downtown Hammond.<\/p>\n

The visit followed a recent interview on Good Morning America, where Jackson promoted the release of \u201cSean Combs: The Reckoning,\u201d a four-part Netflix series released earlier this month that details the grievances and abuse allegations against Sean Combs, the music mogul known as Puff Daddy or Diddy. A longtime rival of Combs, Jackson executive produced the series.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n

In recent years, Jackson has expanded his presence<\/a> across Louisiana, particularly in Shreveport, where his investments have made him a fixture. He has said he plans to transform part of the downtown area into an entertainment hub that would serve as the headquarters for his company, G-Unit Film and Television Louisiana.<\/p>\n

Since 2023, the company has spent at least $3.4 million<\/a> acquiring nearly a dozen downtown properties. Jackson has also said he plans to build a permanent “G-Dome” on property he owns downtown.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n

Jackson has promoted Shreveport frequently since expanding his presence there. In March, he appeared at a city council meeting, where he shook hands with Mayor Tom Arceneaux and praised the city.<\/p>\n

“I just want to say, in a short period of time, I’ve come to like the people of Shreveport in a different way, like it feels like a home away from home for me, and it will eventually be home, because I have so much work here,\u201d Jackson said.<\/p>\n

He has also expressed appreciation for New Orleans. After announcing the partnership between his Sire Spirits line and the Saints in 2023, Jackson said the city “excudes creativity and soul” and holds “a special place in his heart.”<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n
