David Beckham<\/strong><\/a> paid his respects to Stone Roses bassist Mani<\/strong> amid the soccer star\u2019s family drama.<\/p>\n

Beckham, 50, attended the funeral services for Mani (real name Gary Mounfield) in Manchester, United Kingdom, on Monday, December 22. Beckham was not the only famous face at the rockstar\u2019s memorial. Mani\u2019s former bandmates Ian Brown<\/strong> and Bobby Gillespie<\/strong>, Oasis frontman Liam Gallagher<\/strong> and former soccer player Gary Neville<\/strong> also attended the event.<\/p>\n

Mani died in November following his battle with emphysema. The musician was 63.<\/p>\n

Beckham\u2019s appearance at the funeral comes after rumors swirled that there has been a rift in his family. David and wife Victoria Beckham<\/strong> have seemingly been at odds with son Brooklyn Peltz Beckham<\/strong> and his wife, Nicola Peltz Beckham<\/strong>. (In addition to Brooklyn, David and Victoria, 51, are parents to sons Cruz, 20, and Romeo, 23, and daughter Harper, 14.)<\/p>\n

David and Victoria\u2019s ups and downs with Brooklyn and Nicola reportedly stem back to the couple\u2019s 2022 wedding. For her wedding day, Nicola chose to wear a couture Valentino dress instead of one of her mother-in-law\u2019s designs, which led to alleged tension.<\/p>\n

Us Weekly<\/em><\/a> reported earlier this year that there was also an incident involving the newlywed\u2019s first dance that was performed by wedding guest Marc Anthony<\/strong>.<\/p>\n

\u201cThe dance was a meaningful centerpiece planned just for the couple,\u201d a source close to the family exclusively told Us<\/em>. \u201cIt was a generous gift from Marc Anthony that the Peltz family put significant time and resources into, including staging and a live band at their home.\u201d<\/p>\n

In the middle of the number, Anthony allegedly brought Victoria, who is his close friend, on stage and referred to her as \u201cthe most beautiful woman in the room.\u201d The comment allegedly led to Nicola leaving her wedding upset.<\/p>\n
