Though he was back on stage afterwards at the Westgate Las Vegas, where he has a long-running residency, his doctor ordered an MRI &#8220;just to make sure that everything was OK.&#8221;<\/p>\n<p>&#8220;The MRI discovered a cancerous spot on my left lung that needs to be removed,&#8221; the singer wrote. &#8220;It&#8217;s pure luck (and a great doctor) that it was found so early.&#8221;<\/p>\n<p>He said that doctors do not believe the cancer has spread, and he will be undergoing additional tests to confirm the diagnosis.<\/p>\n<partner-banner util-module-path=\"elements\/partner\" fluid=\"\" bottom=\"\" lazy=\"\" class=\"spacer-large\" min-height=\"390\" outstream=\"\"\/>\n<p>&#8220;No chemo. No radiation,&#8221; he added. &#8220;Just chicken soup and I Love Lucy reruns.&#8221;<\/p>\n<h2 class=\"presto-h2 exclude-from-newsgate wp-block-heading\">Barry Manilow tour dates rescheduled<\/h2>\n<p>Manilow will have a surgery to have the spot removed, but he did not share when that would happen. However, he said it will take a month to recover, which has led to rescheduling his January arena concerts.
