Nikki Sixx has teased a “warts and all” documentary series about Motley Crue’s hell-raising days.<\/p>\n
\nBased on their 2001 memoir, The Dirt, which was already turned into a musical comedy film in 2019, the new adaptation will feature candid contributions from the Girls, Girls, Girls band’s bassist Nikki, drummer Tommy Lee and frontman Vince Neil.<\/p>\n
\nWhile attending the Jackson Hole International Film Festival to lead a panel about the flick If These Walls Could Rock, Nikki said: \u201cThe documentary is about Motley Crue.<\/p>\n
\n\u201cIt\u2019s an interesting look at our career and people are going to discover a lot about us and the music and the lyrics.<\/p>\n
\n\u201cStorytelling is really important to me.<\/p>\n
\n\u201cYou\u2019re going to hear from the band individually and collectively as we had quite the life. It\u2019s warts and all.\u201d<\/p>\n
\nThe biography introduced a new generation to tales of debauchery involving Tommy, who infamously featured in a sex tape with Baywatch actress Pamela Anderson, and Nikki, who once bet with Tommy on who could go the longest time without showering while still sleeping with groupies.<\/p>\n
\nNikki reflected in an interview with the Daily Express in 2023: \u201cWhen The Dirt film came out, younger music fans had only kind of heard who M\u00f6tley Cr\u00fce were.<\/p>\n
\n\u201cWhen those kids saw the movie, they went: \u2018Holy s***! They don\u2019t make bands like that anymore!\u2019<\/p>\n
