James Gunn<\/a> explains why Man of Tomorrow<\/a>‘s Brainiac actor was revealed prior to any official casting announcements for The Batman – Part II.<\/a> On December 20, Gunn<\/a> posted on social media that Lars Eidinger<\/a> had been cast as Brainiac<\/a> in Man of Tomorrow<\/a>.<\/p>\n

The Superman<\/a> sequel was announced earlier this year and is scheduled to be released on July 9, 2027. Scarlett Johansson<\/a> has reportedly been added to the cast of The Batman – Part II<\/a>, releasing on October 1, 2027, but neither she nor any other new cast members have been officially announced by DC yet.<\/p>\n
