Best movies of 2025<\/h2>\n And with 2025 wrapping up, the survey also had respondents vote on what movies released in 2025 were their absolute favorites. The winner was a bit surprising.<\/p>\n

Superhero movies are still in their heyday, too, as \u201cSuperman\u201d won third place (17%), and \u201cWicked: For Good\u201d (17%) closely followed.<\/p>\n
\u201cSinners\u201d (17%) and \u201cFinal Destination: Bloodlines\u201d (16%) also scored highly, with \u201cMission: Impossible \u2014 The Final Reckoning\u201d receiving a ninth-place vote (13%).<\/p>\n
But there was a stunning snub: Scoring last on the list was Paul Thomas Anderson\u2019s action thriller \u201cOne Battle After Another,\u201d which saw only 4% of the panel vote it as one of their 2025 picks.<\/p>\n\u201cSuperman\u201d placed as the second-best movie of 2025.
