The King and the Princess of Wales have teased TV gifts as
\nChristmas Eve dawned.<\/p>\n
And Kate hinted that one of her children might be involved in
\nwhat promises to be a festive treat.<\/p>\n
The Princess of Wales was first off the mark with a festive
\nphoto of a piano surrounded by decorations as Christmas Eve got
\nunder way closely followed by a video of two sets of hands getting
\nready to play what she called a \u201dspecial duet\u201d.<\/p>\n
As the video came to a close, a check dress very similar to
\nthose loved by Princess Charlotte came into view.<\/p>\n
The identity of the mystery player is set to be revealed as
\nKate\u2019s Christmas Carol service, Together at Christmas, goes out on
\nITV on Christmas Eve night.<\/p>\n
Princess Charlotte was at the service which was recorded on
\nDecember 5th at Westminster Abbey.<\/p>\n
Her brothers, Prince George and Prince Louis, were also there,
\nstopping to help decorate a special tree on their way into the
\nservice with dad, Prince William.<\/p>\n
Westminster Abbey is also the setting for The King\u2019s Christmas
\nSpeech this year and HM was teasing that as his daughter in law was
\nhinting at her own TV special.<\/p>\n
King Charles has chosen to record this year\u2019s address in the
\nLady Chapel at the Abbey which is the burial place of 15 other
\nmonarchs including Elizabeth I, Mary I and Mary, Queen of
\nScots.<\/p>\n
As Christmas Eve got under way, the Royal Family shared some
\nbehind the scenes glimpses of this year\u2019s speech which will go out,
\nas is traditional, at 3pm on Christmas Day.<\/p>\n
By then, we\u2019ll have seen The King and the Princess of Wales at
\nSandringham. Charles and Queen Camilla will be joined by William
\nand Kate as well as 12 year old George, 10 year old Charlotte and 7
\nyear old Louis.<\/p>\n
It\u2019s expected that Princess Anne and her family will also be at
\nSandringham for the celebrations. However, it\u2019s reported that
\nPrincess Beatrice won\u2019t be joining them as she\u2019s headed abroad on a
\nski-ing trip with her husband, Edoardo Mapelli Mozzi, and their
\nfamily which includes daughters Sienna, 4, and 10 month old Athena
\nas well as Wolfie, Edo\u2019s son from a previous relationship.<\/p>\n
Meanwhile, Andrew Mountbatten Windsor will be spending his last
\nChristmas at Royal Lodge on Windsor estate. He is surrendering the
\nlease after twenty years residence. The decision was made at the
\nsame time that King Charles stripped his brother of all his
\ntitles.<\/p>\n
