A character actor and comedian who appeared on TV shows like \u201cSeinfeld,\u201d \u201cFriends\u201d and \u201cThe Middle\u201d is dead at age 60.<\/p>\n
Pat Finn died Monday night, his family announced Wednesday. The cause of death was bladder cancer, according to the celebrity.land<\/a>.<\/p>\n \u201cIt is with profound sadness and grief that the Finn family announces the passing of beloved comedic actor, Pat Finn. In 2022, Pat battled bladder cancer, went into remission, but the cancer returned and metastasized,\u201d a family statement said. \u201cHe was a warrior in every sense of the word.\u201d<\/p>\n Finn was a Second City alumnus who appeared in 70 movies and TV shows in his career, including a recurring role as neighbor Bill Norwood on ABC\u2019s \u201cThe Middle.\u201d<\/p>\n Other memorable characters included throwing a party as Joe Mayo on \u201cThe Reverse Peephole\u201d episode of \u201cSeinfeld\u201d; appearing on \u201cFriends\u201d as Dr. Roger, a boyfriend of \u201cFat Monica\u201d (Courteney Cox); and playing Phil Jr., the son of Phil\u2019s Bar owner\/bartender Phil (Pat Corley) on \u201cMurphy Brown.\u201d<\/p>\n Finn\u2019s credits also included \u201cThe Goldbergs,\u201d \u201cThe George Wendt Show,\u201d \u201c3rd Rock from the Sun,\u201d \u201cEd,\u201d \u201cThe Drew Carey Show,\u201d \u201cThat \u201870s Show,\u201d \u201cThe King of Queens,\u201d \u201cWizards of Waverly Place,\u201d \u201c2 Broke Girls,\u201d \u201cSpace Buddies,\u201d \u201cI Love You Beth Cooper,\u201d \u201cMarvin Marvin,\u201d \u201cIt\u2019s Complicated,\u201d \u201cDude Where\u2019s My Car?\u201d and \u201cCurb Your Enthusiasm.\u201d He also appeared as a contestant on \u201cCelebrity Family Feud\u201d in 2021.<\/p>\n According to The Hollywood Reporter<\/a>, Finn was beloved as an improv comedy actor and was close friends with \u201cSaturday Night Live\u201d legend Chris Farley, who died in 1997. Finn met both his wife and Farley while attending Marquette University in the 1980s.<\/p>\n \u201cThe two of us were inseparable.
