Lewis Pullman<\/strong> shared the guidance he received from his famous dad, Bill<\/strong> Pullman<\/strong><\/a>, about working in showbiz.<\/p>\n

Lewis, 32, exclusively told Us Weekly<\/em> at The Testament of Ann Lee<\/em> premiere on December 14 in Hollywood that his father, 72, takes a more narrative-led approach to imparting wisdom.<\/p>\n

\u201cI get so much great and valuable advice from my dad. He doesn\u2019t give me straight up advice. He sort of leads by example and through storytelling,\u201d Lewis told Us<\/em>. \u201cHe doesn\u2019t want to stand in the way of me finding a path that is my own, and very conscious of the fact that we\u2019re different people with different tendencies and how we grow is different. I don\u2019t know how I\u2019d be able to do anything without him. I love him so much.\u201d<\/p>\n

Lewis is the youngest son of the Independence Day<\/em> actor and dancer Tamara<\/strong> Hurwitz<\/strong>. Bill and Hurwitz, 55, also share daughter Maesa<\/strong>, 37, and son Jack<\/strong>, 36, who both also work in creative fields.<\/p>\n

Lewis is slated to star alongside Amanda<\/strong> Seyfried<\/strong><\/a>, Christopher<\/strong> Abbott<\/strong>, Viola<\/strong> Prettejohn<\/strong>, Tim<\/strong> Blake<\/strong> Nelson<\/strong>, Matthew<\/strong> Beard<\/strong> and more in the historical musical drama, The Testament of Ann Lee<\/em> from director Mona<\/strong> Fastvold<\/strong>.<\/p>\n

Fastvold, 44, is known for cowriting the Oscar-winning film The Brutalist<\/em> and directing The World to Come<\/em> and The Sleepwalker<\/em>.<\/p>\n

Lewis opened up about working with the highly accomplished Seyfried, 40, on the film.<\/p>\n

\u201cI think that her capability to immerse herself in every scene, and then come out of it and be a mother and be a leader<\/a> and laugh was baffling,\u201d Lewis told Us<\/em>. \u201cI don\u2019t know how she was able to juggle that and deliver the performance that she did. I mean, she is phenomenal in this.\u201d<\/p>\n

Lewis told Us<\/em> that \u201ceverything\u201d surprised him when it came to working with the award-winning actress.<\/p>\n

\u201cYou learn something new about her every day. She\u2019s very unpredictable,\u201d Lewis said. \u201cShe doesn\u2019t second-guess her truth and her opinion. And there\u2019s something so encouraging and beautiful about that. And I think that in many ways, that\u2019s very true to who Ann Lee was. And she was going against all odds. She was starting a movement that everyone thought she was either the Second Coming or she was a witch and so Amanda was able to elegantly carve that character out so beautifully.\u201d<\/p>\n

Some Euphoria fans were shocked to learn Maude Apatow had famous parents, actress Leslie Mann and writer\/director Judd Apatow. The Testament of Ann Lee<\/em> will hit limited theaters in the U.S. on Thursday, December 25.<\/p>\n

Seyfried recently opened up to Us<\/em> about how playing the titular character pushed her beyond acting.<\/p>\n
