The former LSU infielder announced he has signed a professional contract with the Kansas City Royals organization. That is something he discussed on <a target=\"_blank\" href=\"https:\/\/www.youtube.com\/watch?v=hdgXP4pYTFc\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">After Further Review<\/a> shortly after the Tigers won the College World Series in June.<\/p>\n<p>As a freshman at South Carolina in 2022, Braswell made seven relief appearances, recording three saves.<\/p>\n<p>During his two seasons with the Gamecocks and two at LSU, Braswell played in 234 games with 203 starts. After hitting .311 during his first season with the Tigers, his average plummeted to .189 his senior season.
