It also reportedly contains a team option for an eighth season with contract escalators which could make the deal worth as much as $131 million.<\/p>\n<p>Soderstrom, 24, is coming off a breakout in his first full season at the major league level after the Athletics selected him in the first round (26th overall) in the 2020 MLB Draft.
