With the year coming to a close we wanted to highlight some of our favourite albums and EPs that released in 2025. But genuinely, we are blessed with choice, there have been so many releases across the entire year and narrowing the list down was too difficult. So, to make it easier we\u2019ve limited it to our top 10 and it must\u2019ve released after January 1st 2025 and must be either an EP or LP, no singles on this list! (I\u2019m sorry Amyl, Cartoon Darkness would be in my top three but it released late October 2024)<\/p>\n<p>From returning legends to rising new comers, so in no order at all, here are some of our favourite new albums or EP\u2019s from 2025. (I\u2019m so sorry everyone else I love you all, I\u2019ll make it up to you I promise!)<\/p>\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Ball Park Music \u2013 Like Love<\/h2>\n<div data-space=\"article\" class=\"adv adv-content t-center\">\n<p>Article continues after this ad<\/p>\n<p>Advertisement<\/p>\n<\/p><\/div>\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image size-full\"><\/figure>\n<p>Back in February of this year the beloved Aussie Indie Rock artists announced that that their newest album Like Love, was releasing in April. Ball Park Music last released an album back in May of 2022 with Weirder &amp; Weirder. The group deliberately stripped back their sound for their eighth studio album to focus on the songwriting and vocal arrangements and it\u2019s pure nostalgic magic.<\/p>\n<p><iframe loading=\"lazy\" allow=\"autoplay\" width=\"100%\" height=\"300\" src=\"https:\/\/www.iheart.com\/artist\/ball-park-music-621855\/?embed=true\" frameborder=\"0\"><\/iframe><\/p>\n<hr class=\"wp-block-separator has-alpha-channel-opacity\"\/>\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Spacey Jane \u2013 If That Makes Sense<\/h2>\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image size-full\"><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/regionalhub.arn.com.au\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/12\/ab67616d0000b273ad824adfa95dd13592225dab.jpeg\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-134656\"\/><\/figure>\n<p>Spacey Jane are back with their third studio album, If That Makes Sense. If That Makes Sense is Spacey Janes most unique album yet. After a year long hiatus from performing live the band announced they would be releasing a new album in May of 2025. The band themselves have been going through a transformation after relocating to LA, the band even diving into their vulnerability after such a change for this album.<\/p>\n<p><iframe loading=\"lazy\" allow=\"autoplay\" width=\"100%\" height=\"300\" src=\"https:\/\/www.iheart.com\/artist\/spacey-jane-31831216\/?embed=true\" frameborder=\"0\"><\/iframe><\/p>\n<hr class=\"wp-block-separator has-alpha-channel-opacity\"\/>\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Ninajirachi \u2013 I Love My Computer<\/h2>\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image size-full\"><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/regionalhub.arn.com.au\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/12\/a0649909828_16.jpg\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-134657\"\/><\/figure>\n<p>New comer Ninajirachi is set to explode after cleaning up at the ARIA awards earlier this year. The DJ released their debut track in August of this year titled I Love My Computer and it\u2019s since swept through the dance and nightclub scene. Their previous album, released back in 2019, this marked the largest gap between albums the band had ever seen. Their newest album, as described by the band has an underlying theme of honesty. This marks their ninth studio album in roughly 30-years, and they don\u2019t seem to be going anyway anytime soon.<\/p>\n<p><iframe loading=\"lazy\" allow=\"autoplay\" width=\"100%\" height=\"300\" src=\"https:\/\/www.iheart.com\/artist\/hilltop-hoods-685787\/?embed=true\" frameborder=\"0\"><\/iframe><\/p>\n<hr class=\"wp-block-separator has-alpha-channel-opacity\"\/>\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Tame Impala \u2013 Deadbeat<\/h2>\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image size-full\"><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/regionalhub.arn.com.au\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/12\/tame-impala-deadbeat.jpg\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-134661\"\/><\/figure>\n<p>Perth\u2019s psychedelic pop icon is back with their fifth studio album, Deadbeat. Predicting what a Tame Impala is going to be like is a hard feat with how much Parker likes to defy expectations. Paul Kelly, Australian royalty, has released his 30th studio album. Yep, a whopping thirty albums. The album is titled Seventy, to mark the musicians age when the album released. With songs varying in different tones and inspirations it\u2019s a real roller coaster of emotions as the musical veteran explores family, intergenerational trauma, and aging.<\/p>\n<p><iframe loading=\"lazy\" allow=\"autoplay\" width=\"100%\" height=\"300\" src=\"https:\/\/www.iheart.com\/artist\/paul-kelly-30405088\/?embed=true\" frameborder=\"0\"><\/iframe><\/p>\n<hr class=\"wp-block-separator has-alpha-channel-opacity\"\/>\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Royel Otis \u2013 Hickey<\/h2>\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image size-full\"><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/regionalhub.arn.com.au\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/12\/ab67616d0000b2739ea7c8a96a35dc122fcbc621.jpeg\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-134664\"\/><\/figure>\n<p>Sydney\u2019s own Royel Otis returns with their second album, hickey. Hickey is divisive and earned a bit of controversy after their single \u201cMoody\u201d was interpreted to feature misogynistic lyrics, something which the band emphasises was never intended to be conveyed that way. Despite this, the single landed their first billboard Number 1. The album features a wide array of emotional pieces that accumulate towards an emotional hot air balloon ride of a rock album. <\/p>\n<p><iframe loading=\"lazy\" allow=\"autoplay\" width=\"100%\" height=\"300\" src=\"https:\/\/www.iheart.com\/artist\/ocean-alley-30976310\/?embed=true\" frameborder=\"0\"><\/iframe><\/p>\n<hr class=\"wp-block-separator has-alpha-channel-opacity\"\/>\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Parcels \u2013 LOVED<\/h2>\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image size-full\"><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/regionalhub.arn.com.au\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/12\/a1270752713_16.jpg\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-134666\"\/><\/figure>\n<p>Byron Bay born and bred, but straight outta Belin. Parcels newest album is the joyful dance experience we all didn\u2019t know we needed. LOVED was recorded all over the world in Berlin, Byron Bay, Sydney and even Mexico City to create a laid back and joyful treat to the ears.<\/p>\n<p><iframe loading=\"lazy\" allow=\"autoplay\" width=\"100%\" height=\"300\" src=\"https:\/\/www.iheart.com\/artist\/parcels-31003710\/?embed=true\" frameborder=\"0\"><\/iframe><\/p>\n<hr class=\"wp-block-separator has-alpha-channel-opacity\"\/>\n<p>What do you think?
