Australian DJ Dom Dolla is ending 2025 on a high note.<\/p>\n
The musician, whose real name is Dominic Matheson, headlined his largest concert ever when he performed for more than 40,000 fans at Sydney\u2019s Allianz Stadium last Saturday, Dec. 20, Billboard reported<\/a>. <\/p>\n Aside from being Dom\u2019s biggest show yet, it also marked the first time a homegrown DJ had played to a stadium in Australia, per the news outlet. <\/p>\n With that, Dom Dolla became the first electronic act to headline an Australian stadium show, according to The Music<\/a>.<\/p>\n \u201cMost insane night of my life,\u201d the DJ wrote in an Instagram post<\/a>, featuring a video recap of the concert.<\/p>\n Allianz Stadium also captured<\/a> Dom\u2019s stadium debut<\/a> with several Instagram posts<\/a>. <\/p>\n \u201cWatching Dom grow from the beginning of his journey to delivering a stadium show of this scale \u2014 and doing so in his home country as the first electronic artist to headline a stadium in Australia \u2014 has been incredibly inspiring,\u201d Nicholas Greco, co-founder and managing partner at Untitled Group, told Billboard. <\/p>\n \u201cSeeing an electronic artist connect with tens of thousands of people in that environment shows just how incredible he is,\u201d Greco added. \u201cIt\u2019s exciting to look ahead to what\u2019s next as he closes out 2025 and brings that momentum into 2026 at home with his fans.\u201d<\/p>\n Due to his groundbreaking efforts, Dom was awarded a trophy for \u201cmaking Australian music history,\u201d Billboard reported. <\/p>\n Dom Dolla, known for his distinct style of house music and collaborating with major artists, has enjoyed consistent success in his native country since his debut in 2013. <\/p>\n The DJ has received eight ARIA Award nominations for Best Dance Release, winning for \u201cSan Frandisco\u201d in 2020, \u201cRhyme Dust\u201d in 2023 and \u201cDreamin\u2019\u201d in 2025<\/a>. <\/p>\n Outside of Australia, Dom Dolla has received nominations for a Grammy Award<\/a> and Juno Award<\/a>. In 2024, he was ranked the 66th on DJ Magazine\u2018s top 100 DJs list<\/a>. <\/p>\n Dom Dolla has also performed at several music festivals \u2014including Coachella and Lollapalooza \u2014 and has sold out venues such as Red Rocks Amphitheatre in Denver, Colorado, Sidney Myer Music Bowl in Melbourne, Australia and Forest Hills Stadium in New York.<\/p>\n
