Let\u2019s look at the current theories as we\u2019re just days away from finding out once and for all\u2026<\/p>\n<p><a rel=\"nofollow\" target=\"_blank\" id=\"elk-is-kali-bad\" class=\"paywall\" aria-hidden=\"true\" data-url=\"\" href=\"\" target=\"_blank\" referrerpolicy=\"no-referrer-when-downgrade\" data-hl-processed=\"none\"\/><\/p>\n<h3 class=\"article-body__section\" id=\"section-is-kali-bad\"><span>Is Kali bad? <\/span><\/h3>\n<p id=\"4e9bb6ec-7f8a-4aa9-ba32-65b2c4eaaf55\">While there\u2019s nothing to prove that Kali is an outright villain, she has seemingly convinced Eleven &#8211; or El &#8211; that it\u2019s the right thing for them both to sacrifice themselves. And this has fans suspicious.<\/p>\n<p>The arguments against Kali being bad include the horrific circumstances she\u2019s experienced up to this point. She has been trapped in the Upside Down version of the laboratory, while the likes of the sinister Dr Kay and the government harvest her blood to create more children with supernatural powers.<\/p>\n<p id=\"e2790440-9598-4cce-a005-fed35b6f2296\">This has, understandably, left her cynical and her outlook bleak. And, as they wrote, &#8216;when we see Kali\u2019s powers in use, there is not a physical representation of it, it\u2019s all in the victims mind. The car physically crashed into the wall. Hopper&#8217;s knife was physically still stuck into the wall. I don\u2019t think the wall is a manifestation of Kali\u2019s powers.&#8217;<\/p>\n<p><a rel=\"nofollow\" target=\"_blank\" id=\"elk-stranger-things-season-5-clues-from-the-cast-and-writers\" class=\"paywall\" aria-hidden=\"true\" data-url=\"\" href=\"\" target=\"_blank\" referrerpolicy=\"no-referrer-when-downgrade\" data-hl-processed=\"none\"\/><\/p>\n<h3 class=\"article-body__section\" id=\"section-stranger-things-season-5-clues-from-the-cast-and-writers\"><span>Stranger Things season 5 clues from the cast and writers <\/span><\/h3>\n<p id=\"7496e464-c51b-4086-9daa-f75ded29d9cf\">However, there are a few things still making some suspicious, including hints from the cast and showrunners themselves.<\/p>\n<p>To start, when asked in an interview to describe the fifth and final season in one word, Caleb McLaughlin who plays Lucas opted to use the word &#8220;Traitor&#8221;. And obviously, the way things ended with Hopper leaves a lot of tension between them.&#8221;<\/p>\n<p><a rel=\"nofollow\" target=\"_blank\" id=\"elk-when-is-the-stranger-things-finale\" class=\"paywall\" aria-hidden=\"true\" data-url=\"\" href=\"\" target=\"_blank\" referrerpolicy=\"no-referrer-when-downgrade\" data-hl-processed=\"none\"\/><\/p>\n<h3 class=\"article-body__section\" id=\"section-when-is-the-stranger-things-finale\"><span>When is the Stranger Things finale? <\/span><\/h3>\n<p id=\"39b514e1-d78d-4bf3-962c-5266c6242604\">Fortunately fans don&#8217;t have long to wait to find out how it all ends with Kali, El and co.<\/p>\n<p>Stranger Things season five, episode eight &#8211; the series finale &#8211; will release at 1am on New Year\u2019s Day for viewers in the UK.
