The Zac Brown Band\u2019s \u201cLove & Fear\u201d residency at The Sphere in Las Vegas has not come without controversy. <\/p>\n
Fans have flocked to social media with claims that the show features satanic imagery. The accusations became so prevealent that Brown recently commented on them.<\/p>\n
\u201cThank y\u2019all for such an incredible, incredible night tonight,\u201d Brown told the crowd following his Dec. 12 show. \u201cI want to say a little something about this show because there\u2019s a lot of people that picked it up online saying that we are doing some kind of satanic ritual or something like that. I don\u2019t think we can put any more love and light into a show than what we put into this one.\u201d<\/p>\n
Fans cheered as Brown continued.<\/p>\n
\u201cAnd I think there are forces out there that don\u2019t want this message to get out, so if you get a minute drop somebody a comment or something online that\u2019s trying to say that we are trying to worship the devil which is horseshit,\u201d he added.<\/p>\n
Per Whiskey Riff, videos from the opening of the show \u201cappeared to be a descent into Hell.\u201d TikTok videos shared<\/b><\/a> from the concert show Brown playing while wearing a crown that looked a whole heck of a lot like horns while being surrounded by skeletal, Devil-like images. <\/p>\n Some fans took it and ran with it.<\/p>\n \u201cZac Brown Band performed a demonic ritual at the sphere,\u201d Truth Seeker posted on X. \u201cMost of these concerts are energy harvesting rituals.\u201d<\/p>\n The band continued to share photos and clips through the weekend on Instagram, and the replies were had to miss. <\/p>\n \u201cOh look another one who sold their souls,\u201d Samantha Kent commented on one post. <\/p>\n \u201cChrist is King,\u201d another person wrote. <\/p>\n \u201cYou\u2019ve lost me a big fan!\u201d another wrote. \u201cYou\u2019ve crossed into the demonic realm like way too many artists. Never thought I\u2019d see this from a great country band! It\u2019s a damn shame!\u201d<\/p>\n If there is any consolation to Brown it is that he is not alone. That parking space appears to be numbered 668, but some folks thought it was 666.<\/p>\n And that was all they needed.<\/p>\n Per Taste of Country<\/b><\/a>, one person responded, \u201c666, we know who you worship,\u201d and another person wrote, \u201cSymbology much \u2026. Don\u2019t be fooled lots of country artists with their fake stupid accents are not free agents but rather useful tools.\u201d<\/p>\n Well, Carly had enough of that and decided to stand up for herself on Wednesday.<\/p>\n \u201cI\u2019ve seen too many comments about this being some sort of \u2018hint\u2019 towards 666 or Satan to not comment,\u201d she wrote on X. \u201cFirst of all, this was the parking spot for my tour bus at CMA fest & I believe it is 668. I am a devout Christian who takes PRIDE in using my platform to point people toward JESUS. So, for anyone wondering \u2026 there are absolutely ZERO underlying messages except a girl excited to be playing the big stage.\u201d<\/p>\n There were thankfully more than a few folks with functioning brains who were supportive of taking a stand.<\/p>\n \u201cGirl I\u2019m so sorry you had to even address this!!!\u201d one person wrote. \u201cThis is insane! Accusing you of this is like accusing Carrie Underwood of the same thing. We (love) you.\u201d<\/p>\n You can see the post and the responses here.<\/b><\/a><\/p>\n JELLY ROLL <\/b><\/u><\/p>\n Few in country music praise God as often and openly as Jelly Roll, but that didn\u2019t save him from being hit with accusations that he was down with the Devil last year. <\/p>\n The singer made the revelation during a November interview on The Pat McAfee Show in which he revealed that he quit social media when he was inundated with the claims after performing at Ozzy Osbourne\u2019s Rock Hall of Fame induction ceremony.<\/p>\n \u201cI started getting drawn into weird stuff that made me feel weird, because I\u2019m a man of faith,\u201d he said during an appearance on the Pat McAfee Show per Taste of Country.<\/b><\/a> \u201cI\u2019m like, \u2018Man, y\u2019all really don\u2019t know me if you think I would even \u2026 Satan runs from the name I say. You know what I mean?
