Billy Ray Cyrus and Elizabeth Hurley are cozied up while his daughter gets engaged.<\/p>\n

On Friday, December 26, the Bedazzled actress, 60, took to Instagram<\/a> with a glimpse at how she spent Christmas<\/a>. Along with a caption that said, \u201cMerry Christmas,\u201d she posted a photo of her and her 64-year-old boyfriend wearing matching red onesies. The graphic one pieces were accompanied by festive reindeer headbands.\u00a0<\/p>\n

While the two stars were smiling from ear to ear, Billy\u2019s daughter Brandi was ringing wedding bells. On her own account, the eldest of the\u00a0 iconic Cyrus sisters<\/a> announced she was engaged to her boyfriend Matt Southcombe.<\/p>\n

To reveal the news, Brandi posted a montage of photos from her proposal, which appeared to be in a parking lot just as she was getting off a motorcycle. She also attached two photos from the dinner that followed, which saw the engaged couple also matching in all black attire.<\/p>\n

She captioned the set of photos, \u201cIt\u2019s been the craziest, biggest year of my life and I get to close it out saying YES to forever with my dream man\u2026 @mattsouth I\u2019m so thankful everyday that my flight got cancelled and I walked into this coffee shop one afternoon and found you. You\u2019re my very best friend and everything I\u2019ve spent my whole life looking for. I love you forever!!!\u201d<\/p>\n<\/div>\n

The two started dating at the beginning of the year after reconnecting years after they met while filming the 2022 holiday film Christmas in Paradise.\u00a0<\/p>\n

According to the country singer, the connection was immediately apparent.<\/p>\n

While on The Ty Bentil Show, he recalled, \u201cWe did very few scenes together, but the couple times we were in the same scene, there was a chemistry there that [I] felt.\u201d<\/p>\n

\u201cWe just laughed, and it was at a time [when] I wasn\u2019t laughing a lot and I found that the oddest thing.\u201d<\/p>\n

Billy also remembered how he felt when they rekindled their connection<\/a> years later.<\/p>\n

He added, \u201cThen two more years of life went by, and it was this evolution that some might\u2019ve looked at and certainly I felt like, \u2018Wow, can life get any harder? Can it get any tougher for me?\u2019\u201d<\/p>\n
