Chalamet, 30, reposted a musical birthday salute from the former Britain\u2019s Got Talent<\/em> contestant, 64, after the official Instagram for his new movie Marty Supreme<\/em> premiered the clip<\/a> on Saturday, December 27.<\/p>\n

\u201cTimoth\u00e9e, have a lovely 30th,\u201d Boyle told the actor before blowing him a kiss. \u201cAll the best. Love, Susan.\u201d<\/p>\n

Along with sharing the clip via his own Instagram, Chalamet thanked his friends and fans for the birthday love.<\/p>\n

There is more than meets the eye to the unexpected interaction between Chalamet and Boyle. Harper\u2019s Bazaar<\/em><\/a> reported this month that Doni Nahmias<\/strong>, Chalamet\u2019s stylist Taylor McNeill<\/strong> and Marty Supreme<\/em> studio A24 came up with the idea to market jackets featuring the movie\u2019s title and three embroidered stars.<\/p>\n

Chalamet and A24 sent the jackets to public figures like Tom Brady<\/strong>, Justin<\/strong> and Hailey Bieber<\/strong> and Kendall Jenner<\/strong>, among others who the actor felt exemplified greatness. The garments went viral when celebrities started wearing them out, leading to a limited supply of black, red, blue and orange jackets completely selling out when they were released to the general public.<\/p>\n

During Chalamet\u2019s U.K. press tour for Marty Supreme<\/em> in December, he was asked by BBC News<\/em><\/a> which British celebrities were \u201cworthy\u201d of the jacket.<\/p>\n

While the interviewer could be heard chuckling at Boyle\u2019s inclusion, Chalamet reminded him that Boyle\u2019s star-making Britain\u2019s Got Talent<\/em> audition<\/a> in 2009 broke the internet.<\/p>\n

\u201cShe dreamt big. She dreamt bigger than all of us,\u201d Chalamet explained. \u201cWho wasn\u2019t moved by that? I remember that like it was yesterday. It was like the advent of YouTube, you know?\u201d<\/p>\n

In her 2009 BGT<\/em> audition, Boyle was initially heckled by the studio audience and scoffed at by judge Simon Cowell<\/strong> before singing a note. Boyle managed to win over the crowd and Cowell with her stunning rendition of \u201cI Dreamed a Dream\u201d from Les Miserables<\/em>.<\/p>\n

Boyle eventually finished second overall to street dance troupe Diversity on Britain\u2019s Got Talent<\/em> that year. She competed on America\u2019s Got Talent: The Champions<\/em> in 2019, where she also made it to the finals. Throughout her career, Boyle has sold an estimated 25 million albums worldwide.<\/p>\n

\n\t\t\tAfter Timoth\u00e9e Chalamet rose to Hollywood stardom, the actor also gained some famous friends. Chalamet became BFFs with Zendaya after working together on 2021\u2019s Dune. \u201cI was the only other person closer to his age on the cast. So he was like, \u2018Awesome, someone who understands my jokes!\u2019\u201d Zendaya told British Vogue in September 2021 [\u2026]\t\t<\/p>\n<\/div>\n

Following Chalamet\u2019s public praise, Boyle confirmed to BBC News<\/em><\/a>\u00a0on December 17 that she had indeed received one of the Marty Supreme<\/em> jackets.<\/p>\n
