It has been revealed that she has topped the list as one of the most &#8220;disliked celebrities&#8221; of 2025.<\/p>\n<p class=\"Paragraph_paragraph-text__PVKlh \" data-tmdatatrack=\"content-unit\" data-tmdatatrack-type=\"paragraph\"><a rel=\"nofollow\" target=\"_blank\" class=\"TextLink_text-link__dBSS0 TextLink_enabled__dJF3l\" href=\"https:\/\/www.mirror.co.uk\/news\/royals\/prince-harry-meghan-markle-lose-36463907\" target=\"_blank\" aria-label=\"The Duchess of SussexLink opens in a new tab.\" rel=\"follow\" tabindex=\"0\">The Duchess of Sussex<\/a> has been set at first place on the Ranker list after featuring lower down the chain in previous years. Users vote in real time which means that the celebrity positions can often change.<\/p>\n<p class=\"Paragraph_paragraph-text__PVKlh \" data-tmdatatrack=\"content-unit\" data-tmdatatrack-type=\"paragraph\">This comes as it was reported Meghan and Harry lost their 11th publicist in just five years after losing their chief communications officer.<\/p>\n<p class=\"Paragraph_paragraph-text__PVKlh \" data-tmdatatrack=\"content-unit\" data-tmdatatrack-type=\"paragraph\">It was revealed last week that <a rel=\"nofollow\" target=\"_blank\" class=\"TextLink_text-link__dBSS0 TextLink_enabled__dJF3l\" href=\"https:\/\/www.mirror.co.uk\/news\/royals\/breaking-meghan-markle-prince-harry-36460427\" target=\"_self\" aria-label=\"\" rel=\"follow\" tabindex=\"0\">Meredith Maines, who worked for the couple for less than a year<\/a>, will be \u201cpursuing a new opportunity\u201d in 2026 after a year of \u201cinspiring work\u201d with the couple.<\/p>\n<p class=\"Paragraph_paragraph-text__PVKlh \" data-tmdatatrack=\"content-unit\" data-tmdatatrack-type=\"paragraph\">Harry and Meghan have also parted ways with <a rel=\"nofollow\" target=\"_blank\" class=\"TextLink_text-link__dBSS0 TextLink_enabled__dJF3l\" href=\"https:\/\/www.mirror.co.uk\/news\/royals\/prince-harry-meghan-markle-axe-35390963\" target=\"_self\" aria-label=\"\" rel=\"follow\" tabindex=\"0\">US-based PR agency Method Communications<\/a>, which was hired in June this year to promote the couple\u2019s business and philanthropic endeavours.<\/p>\n<p class=\"Paragraph_paragraph-text__PVKlh \" data-tmdatatrack=\"content-unit\" data-tmdatatrack-type=\"paragraph\">According to LinkedIn, Maines started working as chief communications officer (CCO) for the Sussexes in March 2025. She wrote that as CCO, she oversees \u201call external communications\u201d for the pair.<\/p>\n<p class=\"Paragraph_paragraph-text__PVKlh \" data-tmdatatrack=\"content-unit\" data-tmdatatrack-type=\"paragraph\">This includes Meghan\u2019s lifestyle brand As Ever, which was first launched in April this year, their media production company, Archewell Productions and their joint charity, Archewell Philanthropies.<\/p>\n<p class=\"Paragraph_paragraph-text__PVKlh \" data-tmdatatrack=\"content-unit\" data-tmdatatrack-type=\"paragraph\">Since news of her stepping down, it appears a briefing war has erupted, with some saying Maines&#8217;s leaving comes after the handling of a row over deleted photos of the Sussexes after they attended a party thrown by the Kardashians.<\/p>\n<p class=\"Paragraph_paragraph-text__PVKlh \" data-tmdatatrack=\"content-unit\" data-tmdatatrack-type=\"paragraph\">One source told the <a rel=\"nofollow\" target=\"_blank\" class=\"TextLink_text-link__dBSS0 TextLink_enabled__dJF3l\" href=\"https:\/\/www.dailymail.co.uk\/news\/article-15416581\/aide-Harry-peace-summit-saga-Meghan-Kardashian-mom-ALISON-BOSHOFF.html\" target=\"_self\" aria-label=\"\" rel=\"nofollow\" tabindex=\"0\">Daily Mail<\/a>: &#8220;Her tenure has been an absolute disaster. If she did in fact quit then she&#8217;s getting out to save face before it gets worse&#8230; She&#8217;s telling others that she is helping with the transition but this does not scream amicable to me.&#8221;<\/p>\n<p class=\"Paragraph_paragraph-text__PVKlh \" data-tmdatatrack=\"content-unit\" data-tmdatatrack-type=\"paragraph\">However, another hit back and said: &#8220;She really enjoyed her time there but at a certain point it is time to go&#8230; They begged her to stay to manage the transition of the Archewell Foundation and other transitions. She stayed to do that.<\/p>\n<p class=\"Paragraph_paragraph-text__PVKlh \" data-tmdatatrack=\"content-unit\" data-tmdatatrack-type=\"paragraph\">&#8220;Meredith feels that she has done what she set out to do. She launched the show and the brand and the website.
