Former\u00a0KISS<\/a>\u00a0guitarist Vinnie Vincent has come under fire\u00a0for selling\u00a0his\u00a0new\u00a0limited-edition CD\u00a0single\u00a0for $225 (\u00a3166).<\/p>\n The musician, who played with the band from 1982 to 1984, announced the \u2018Ride The Serpent\u2019 single at the start of the month, the latest release from his current band, Vinnie Vincent Invasion.<\/p>\n He wrote on December 1 that each disc would be a \u201cvery limited collection piece\u201d with \u201chandwritten\u201d autographs and individually \u201cnumbered in my handwriting\u201d, with the whole run\u00a0to be limited\u00a0to 500 copies.<\/p>\n At the time, he added that he would be pricing each single at $300 (\u00a3222),\u00a0in an effort to\u00a0combat \u201cpirating entities\u201d who he said were \u201cwatching and waiting like a hawk to seize whatever I release and bootleg it\u201d.<\/p>\n \u201cI understand the bitching, the moaning, the whining about price, but you must also understand that my situation is as such that my music is so desired that it will be targeted and taken from me immediately, which I cannot\/will not allow,\u201d he added. \u201cI wish it was not this way, but I\u2019m honored that it is.
