\n\tKanye West made an unannounced appearance during a comedy show by Deon Cole at the Hollywood Improv on Saturday night (Dec. 27), briefly stepping onstage and confirming that a new album is in the works.<\/p>\n

\n\tCole shared footage<\/a> from the night on Instagram after the show, posting a short clip and writing, \u201cAbout last night. What a great time. Laughter & love wins again. Hollywood improv.\u201d<\/p>\n

\n\tIn the video, Cole invites West onto the stage and introduces him to the audience as \u201ca good friend,\u201d thanking the rapper for attending the show. After confirming that he enjoyed the set, West laughs as Cole pokes fun at his famously restrained reactions.<\/p>\n

\n\t\u201cYou weren\u2019t giving me no sympathy laughs, right?\u201d Cole asks in the clip, drawing a grin from West as the crowd reacts.<\/p>\n

\n\tThe moment then turns to what fans might expect next from the artist. \u201cYou got anything we could look out for?\u201d Cole asks. \u201cNo music, no shirts or sweaters or some boots?\u201d<\/p>\n

\n\tWest responds without elaboration: \u201cNew album,\u201d prompting loud cheers from the room.<\/p>\n

\n\tCole follows up with a joking request to appear on an interlude on the forthcoming project, then asks whether West could send him a care package of clothes \u2014 which West agrees to \u2014 before exiting the stage.<\/p>\n

\n\tBack in November, Ye also popped up during Travis Scott\u2019s Circus Maximus<\/a>\u00a0show in Japan last for an unannounced set at the Belluna Dome in Tokorozawa on Nov. 8.<\/p>\n

In fan-shot footage circulating online, West \u2014 who had his face covered \u2014 pulled off his mask mid-show to roaring applause before launching into his 2007 anthem \u201cCan\u2019t Tell Me Nothing.\u201d<\/p>\n

\n\tScott remained onstage as a hype man and support act throughout Ye\u2019s mini-set, which included hits like \u201cRunaway,\u201d \u201cHeartless,\u201d \u201cFlashing Lights,\u201d \u201cStronger,\u201d and \u201cAll of the Lights.\u201d The duo performed together in front of a packed Tokyo crowd as part of Scott\u2019s two-night Japan stopover.<\/p>\n

\n\tYe will also return to Italy to headline the brand new Hellwatt Festival, which will take place at the RCF Arena over three weekends, from July 4-18, and will be officially presented in late January or early February 2026. <\/p>\n

The news of Ye\u2019s concert in Italy comes\u00a0nearly two years<\/a>\u00a0after the lengthy back-and-forth over the live presentation of\u00a0Vultures<\/em>, his Billboard 200-topping joint album with Ty Dolla $ign, which concluded without a concert but with a listening party held at the\u00a0Unipol Forum in Milan<\/a>\u00a0and the Unipol Arena in Bologna in February 2024.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n
