In disbelief. Confused and in shock. We are exhausted and shaken after a day filled with trauma and heartbreak,\u201d the influencer added. <span class=\"credit\">Melissa Mae Carlton\/Instagram<\/span><\/figcaption><\/figure>\n<figure class=\"nyp-slideshow-modal-image wp-block-image aligncenter size-large\"><figcaption>Carlton shared that she has subtle comfort in knowing how much Molly missed her sister Abi, who died last year. <span class=\"credit\">Melissa Mae Carlton\/Instagram<\/span><\/figcaption><\/figure>\n<p>Melissa, who didn\u2019t share Molly\u2019s age, posted heartbreaking photos of herself and Tom at their daughter\u2019s hospital bedside, and several other sweet snaps.<\/p>\n<p>The couple is also parents to a daughter named Lily.<\/p>\n<p>In a <a rel=\"nofollow\" target=\"_blank\" href=\"https:\/\/www.instagram.com\/p\/DSxWOoyFBFV\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">follow-up post<\/a>, Melissa shared an update on Molly\u2019s death after \u201csome speculation,\u201d writing, \u201cFirst of all, we are absolutely overwhelmed by the outpouring of support &amp; prayers we have received.\u201d<\/p>\n<figure class=\"nyp-slideshow-modal-image wp-block-image aligncenter size-large\"><figcaption>\u201cShe would often ask me, \u2018Mummy, when is Jesus coming back so Abi can come down?&#8217;\u201d she explained. <span class=\"credit\">Melissa Mae Carlton\/Instagram<\/span><\/figcaption><\/figure>\n<figure class=\"nyp-slideshow-modal-image wp-block-image aligncenter size-large\"><figcaption>Carlton shared that her son, Harry, told her Molly \u201cgot what she wanted\u201d to be with Abi. <span class=\"credit\">Melissa Mae Carlton\/Instagram<\/span><\/figcaption><\/figure>\n<p>Melissa explained that she and Tom believed they were \u201caligned for the best conditions and the best outcome\u201d after first responders arrived quickly to take Molly to the hospital, which was 15 minutes away.<\/p>\n<p>She shared that a minor illness might have triggered Molly\u2019s \u201ccardiac event,\u201d adding, \u201cHer little body fought so hard.
