Joe Rogan<\/strong> does not approve of President Donald Trump<\/span><\/a><\/strong>\u2019s comments surrounding Rob Reiner<\/span><\/a><\/strong>\u2019s death.<\/p>\n

\u201cThe Rob Reiner thing is not funny. When you see it with no empathy, it\u2019s hard to like,\u201d Rogan, 58, said on the Thursday, December 25, episode of \u201cThe Joe Rogan Experience<\/span><\/a>\u201d podcast. \u201cThere\u2019s no justification for what he did that makes any sense in a compassionate society. It\u2019s no different than people that were celebrating when Charlie Kirk got shot. It\u2019s the same kind of thing.\u201d<\/p>\n

Rob and his wife, Michele Singer Reiner<\/span><\/a><\/strong>, were found dead in their Brentwood, California, home on December 14. The following day, Us Weekly<\/i> confirmed that the couple\u2019s son Nick Reiner<\/strong> had been arrested<\/span><\/a>.<\/p>\n

Nick has since been charged with two counts of first-degree murder. He has not entered a plea, but has hired powerhouse attorney Alan Jackson. <\/b>His arraignment was continued until January 7, 2026.<\/p>\n

On December 15, Trump, 79, spoke out about Rob\u2019s death in a controversial Truth Social post.\u00a0<\/span><\/a><\/p>\n

\u201cA very sad thing happened last night in Hollywood. Rob Reiner, a tortured and struggling, but once very talented movie director and comedy star, has passed away, together with his wife, Michele, reportedly due to the anger he caused others through his massive, unyielding, and incurable affliction with a mind crippling disease known as TRUMP DERANGEMENT SYNDROME, sometimes referred to as TDS,\u201d he wrote. \u201cHe was known to have driven people CRAZY by his raging obsession of President Donald J. Trump, with his obvious paranoia reaching new heights as the Trump Administration surpassed all goals and expectations of greatness, and with the Golden Age of America upon us, perhaps like never before. May Rob and Michele rest in peace!\u201d<\/p>\n

During his podcast episode, Rogan \u2014 along with guest Shane Gillis<\/strong> \u2014\u00a0 imagined what would have happened if former President Barack Obama<\/strong> spoke the way Trump did after the death of a Hollywood star.<\/p>\n

\u201cImagine if Obama tweeted something about someone after they died in this way, that this person was a deranged person that hated Obama,\u201d Rogan imagined. \u201cIt just shows you how crazy it is, the way Trump thinks and talks. It\u2019s just like the guy got sliced up by his kid, you know? Anybody that doesn\u2019t see that and go, \u2018F***, man.\u2019\u201d<\/p>\n

TMZ reported at the time that the Los Angeles Fire Department had been called to the scene in the afternoon to administer \u201cmedical aid.\u201d It was later reported that a 78-year-old man and 70-year-old woman had been [\u2026]\t\t<\/p>\n<\/div>\n

While Gillis, 38, said he wishes Trump \u201ccould apologize,\u201d he and Rogan agreed the current president wouldn\u2019t.<\/p>\n

\u201cIt\u2019s so dark,\u201d Rogan added. \u201cThe Rob Reiner thing was crazy because Rob Reiner made it a mission to try and get Trump out of office.\u201d<\/p>\n

During a 2017 interview with Variety<\/i><\/span><\/a>, Rob described Trump as \u201cthe single most unqualified human being to ever assume the presidency of the United States.\u201d<\/p>\n

\u201cHe is mentally unfit,\u201d Rob added. \u201cNot only does he not understand how government works, he has no interest in trying to find out how it works.\u201d<\/p>\n
