ALBEMARLE \u2014 The Stanly County Chamber of Commerce is inviting the public to attend a ribbon cutting and open house for a new music recording studio opening in Albemarle.<\/p>\n
The event will celebrate the local introduction of Clefnote Music Group, LLC, a music production and artist services company operating under the umbrella of Southgate Artist Management, LLC.<\/p>\n
The studio\u2019s ribbon cutting is scheduled for Jan. 23 at 11:30 a.m. at its location at 502 Cherrywood Lane.<\/p>\n

Clefnote Music Group describes itself as a comprehensive creative partner for musicians, specializing in production, artist management, recording, mixing, mastering and music business strategy services.<\/p>\n
In addition to traditional studio offerings, the company plans to provide a wide range of support services designed to help artists navigate the business side of the industry; Clefnote Music Group will offer assistance with registration, copyright management, sync licensing, marketing and distribution.<\/p>\n
The company is also a partner with Sony Music, a collaboration that gives Clefnote access to the multinational company\u2019s industry resources and global network.<\/p>\n

The studio\u2019s leadership team includes company president and CEO Preston \u201cAP\u201d Duffield III, who also serves as lead producer and music strategist. The team also includes co-owner and CFO Donna \u201cDeeDee\u201d Duffield, who oversees business management and financial strategy.<\/p>\n
