CROWN PRINCESS VICTORIA RAIDS HER MOTHER\u2019S CLOSET FOR
\nTHE NOBEL PRIZE CEREMONY<\/strong><\/p>\n

You can\u2019t ignore the sartorial splendour at the Nobel Prize ceremony<\/a> in
\nStockholm every year. Some of us are still raving about fashion
\nhits from ceremonies long, long ago\u2026<\/p>\n

While they all shine, this year I\u2019m crowning
\nCrown Princess Victoria as the top royal at the Nobel Prize
\nceremony<\/a>, although I guess I should be giving Queen Silvia her
\nlaurels: it\u2019s a recycled gown by Jacques Zehnder from the 1994
\nceremony. I love the wrap-style element and the simple jewellery so
\nas not to overpower the look.<\/p>\n

I\u2019m a simple gal: if Princess Madeleine\u2014who was born to wear the
\nAquamarine Kokoshnik tiara\u2014wears it, she makes the best-dressed
\nlist! Worn at the Nobel Prize ceremony along with her Jenny Packham
\ncaped gown.<\/p>\n

If I were Princess Madeleine, I\u2019d wear this tiara all the time
\nregardless of whether or not it was appropriate attire.<\/p>\n

I\u2019m also a biased gal: if someone comes to Canada, they
\nimmediately land on my radar. When Queen Silvia joined her husband
\nfor a state visit to Canada in November, she landed in Canadian
\nred, and at the state banquet that evening, wore a beautiful
\nsapphire beaded floral gown with echoes of Queen Elizabeth II\u2019s
\nSapphire Jubilee Snowflake brooch, a gift from the people of Canada
\nto their queen.<\/p>\n

When Princess Ines was christened in June\u2014on

\nWallin and hat for the happy occasion.<\/p>\n

We didn\u2019t see much of Princess Sofia this year, owing to
\nmaternity leave following Ines\u2019s birth, but this one look made up
\nfor it!<\/p>\n

\nabout all these months later!<\/p>\n
