Recently, a short clip of the \u201cButter\u201d hitmaker trying to sing along to the chorus of the track, \u201cThe Fate of Ophelia,\u201d has caught attention. In it, the K-pop boy band singer initially seems shy to attempt the hit song. Soon, he gets a hold of the rhythm and lip-syncs the lyrics.\u00a0<\/p>\n For those unversed, both pop sensations have entered the Billboard charts this year. Swift\u2019s songs from her latest album, \u201cThe Life of a Showgirl,\u201d ruled the list after its release in October. Meanwhile, J-Hope\u2019s solo track \u201cKillin\u2019 It Girl (feat. GloRilla)\u201d took over the month of July.<\/p>\n Taylor Swift and BTS\u2019s J-Hope (or Jung Ho-Seok) are global pop stars coming from two different cultures. Despite a language barrier, music has united them. Recently, a video went viral featuring the K-pop idol singing the 36-year-old\u2019s latest hit, \u201cThe Fate of Ophelia,\u201d from her new album, \u201cThe Life of a Showgirl<\/a>.\u201d<\/p>\n In the clip, J-Hope wears a black jacket with wide blue and red strips on both sides of the shoulders, respectively. Wearing a cap with fringes falling over his forehead and eyes, he leans towards a table as he places his folded hands on it. Donning his signature sunshine smile, J-Hope says, \u201cgive up,\u201d while looking down. But, immediately, he corrects himself and tells his fans, \u201cNo! Don\u2019t give up!\u201d<\/p>\n While interacting with his followers, Swift\u2019s song plays in the background. He smiles as he listens to the track and waits for the chorus. J-Hope tries to grab the lyrics but fails. However, he gets hold of the rhythm and hums \u201cThe Fate of Ophelia\u201d perfectly.\u00a0<\/p>\n In 2018, BTS Army (fan name) and Swifties were overjoyed when the \u201cLover\u201d hitmaker posted a photo<\/a> with the K-pop boy band. The seven members met many Hollywood artists at the 2018 Billboard Music Awards (BBMAs), and one of them was Swift.
