Jones was best known as the son of Jon Cryer<\/strong>‘s\u00a0sadsack divorc\u00e9 (and nephew of Charlie Sheen<\/strong>‘s playboy songwriter)\u00a0on the ’00s hit sitcom\u00a0Two and a Half Men. In 2012,\u00a0a\u00a0video of\u00a0Jones\u00a0trashing the comedy, calling it “filth,” surfaced online. The footage<\/a> was from a\u00a015-minute religious testimonial for Forerunner Chronicles, an Alabama-based Seventh-day Adventist ministry.<\/p>\n

Jones later apologized for “showing indifference to and disrespect of my colleagues and a lack of appreciation of the extraordinary opportunity of which I have been blessed.”<\/p>\n

The actor soon left the series, but returned for the finale in 2015.<\/p>\n

Jones, who earned a reported $350,000 per episode during his final season as a full-time cast member on the CBS sitcom, told Houston TV station KHOU<\/a> that the show\u00a0“was making light of topics in our world that are really problems for a lot of people, and I was a paid hypocrite because I wasn’t okay with it, but I was still doing it.”<\/p>\n
