\n\tThe 56-year-old superstar isn\u2019t interested in her love life right now because \u201cit\u2019s all about work and the kids for her,\u201d according to a People<\/em> source<\/a>. Lopez is \u201chappy and content\u201d to focus on her 17-year-old twins Max and Emme, the children she shares with ex-husband Marc Anthony.<\/a><\/p>\n

\n\tSince her tumultuous split from Affleck, Lopez has been putting her romantic pursuits in the rearview mirror \u2014 for now. Telling Howard Stern<\/a> on his SiriusXM show in October, \u201cWhat I learned, it\u2019s not that I\u2019m not lovable. It\u2019s that they\u2019re not capable. They don\u2019t have it in them. They need to appreciate the little person inside of them. They need to love them.\u201d<\/p>\n

\n\tWhile she didn\u2019t name names, it\u2019s hard not to reflect on her Bennifer 2.0 relationship. The dynamic duo came in hot after an 17-year absence, and then quickly fizzled out once they walked down the aisle (twice). It seemed that the release of her 2024 This Is Me\u2026 Now<\/em> album, which was inspired by her relationship with Affleck, sped up their breakup<\/a> at a record pace.<\/p>\n

\n\t\u201cThere is such a thing as true love, and some things do last forever, and maybe it doesn\u2019t have a perfectly straight road, but it\u2019s real,\u201d Lopez gushed to Rolling Stone<\/em><\/a> in February 2024 about love with the Oscar winner. \u201cDon\u2019t give up on that because a life lived is really about love and the people that we share our life with.\u201d<\/p>\n

\n\tWithin a matter of months, Lopez and Affleck\u2019s marriage collapsed in a frenzy of headlines about putting their dream home on the market (it\u2019s still up for sale<\/a>), and why the relationship just didn\u2019t work.<\/p>\n

\n\t\u201cThey have gone through phases where things haven\u2019t been as great<\/a> between them due to their different personalities and not getting enough time together,\u201d an insider told Entertainment Tonight<\/em> <\/a>in May 2024. \u201cThey\u2019re not always on the same page. They both have so much going on between taking care of their families and their work commitments, and it can be a lot for them.\u201d<\/p>\n

\n\tWith J.Lo loving the limelight and Affleck\u2019s notable disdain for the paparazzi<\/a>, their love bubble might have been destined to fail at some point. Still, Lopez is relishing in her single-gal era.<\/p>\n

\n\t\u201cNow I\u2019m excited, when you say you\u2019re just going to be on your own,\u201d said Lopez in an October 2024 with Interview<\/em> magazine<\/a>. \u201cYes, I\u2019m not looking for anybody, because everything that I\u2019ve done over the past 25, 30 years, being in these different challenging situations, what can I f\u2014ing do when it\u2019s just me flying on my own \u2026 what if I\u2019m just free?\u201d<\/p>\n
