You decided that tonight\u2019s the night you\u2019re going to stay home for New Year\u2019s Eve \u2014 maybe watch some Ryan Seacrest or Anderson Cooper, possibly binge some episodic TV or finally watch \u201cHappy Gilmore 2.\u201d<\/p>\n

And then you woke up this morning, thinking, \u201cScratch that, I want to go out, I want to ring in the New Year in style.\u201d\u00a0<\/p>\n

We\u2019ve got you covered. Here\u2019s what\u2019s going on tonight in Aspen and the RFV so you can get your New Year\u2019s on in style.\u00a0<\/p>\n

Aspen<\/strong><\/h3>\n

From 3-6 p.m., head over to the Aspen Ice Garden for free public ice skating. Rental ice skates will be provided for as long as supplies last. Festival costumes and attire are encouraged.<\/p>\n

At 8 p.m., the City of Aspen will light up the night sky with a fireworks display to ring in the new year.<\/p>\n

The Wheeler Opera House presents \u201cJen Kramer\u2019s Magical New Year\u201d at 5 p.m. and 9 p.m., a multi-generational show, with two shows scheduled around the 8 p.m. fireworks.\u00a0<\/p>\n

Named \u201cBest Magician\u201d in the 2024 Best of Vegas Awards, Kramer delivers a high-energy, family-friendly magic show, blending sleight-of-hand with storytelling and audience participation. Tickets cost $45 to $65 and are available at wheeleroperahouse.com\/event\/jen-kramers-magical-new-year-5-pm\/<\/a>.<\/p>\n

W Aspen has two different offerings for New Year\u2019s. Its Countdown Rodeo brings a Wild West theme to the final night of the year at 39 Degrees from 9 p.m. until 2 a.m. DJs, dancing, and a midnight countdown are on tap. When the clock strikes midnight, the night continues at Hidalgo, W Aspen\u2019s lobby-level cocktail bar led by mixologist Dushan Zari\u0107 of Employees Only. Hidalgo offers full bar and restaurant service.<\/p>\n

Hotel Jerome\u2019s NYE celebration includes an open bar and bites at the Antler Bar and a multi-course dinner. There will be live music by Feeding Giants, who will perform their fusion of rock, soul and Americana. The night ends with champagne and dancing to Grammy-nominated DJ Clemente Castillo spinning vinyl in the Grand Ballroom. Tickets are $895. Silver City Aspen is hosting a New Year\u2019s Eve party with Martin and Kelly. This country duo of Jilly Martin and Ryan Brooks Kelly bridges the gap between new and traditional country. Most recently they warmed up audiences for artists such as Willie Nelson, The Oak Ridge Boys, Little Big Town, Alabama, Dwight Yoakam, Rodney Atkins, Phil Vassar, Lonestar, Chris Janson, The Nitty Gritty Dirt Band, Sara Evans, the Bacon Brothers and many more. The Little Nell has multiple ways to bring in the new year. The theme for the 10th annual Dom P\u00e9rignon New Year\u2019s Eve Party is \u201cSilver Solstice.\u201d The event includes a multi-course dinner at Element 47 and a New Year\u2019s Day brunch. Ticket packages range from $1,000 to $2,650.<\/p>\n

Element 47 at the Little Nell is open for a New Year\u2019s Eve dinner, featuring a multi-course menu of seasonal dishes paired with a selection of wines. The evening runs from 7-10 p.m. and showcases an \u00e0 la carte menu as well. Dinner is priced at $1,500 per adult and $500 per child (ages 12 and under).\u00a0<\/p>\n

Ajax Tavern at the Little Nell is offering two seatings: an early celebration ($225 per guest) or a later, more spirited affair ($325 per guest). Each offers a 2.5-hour dining experience. On New Year\u2019s Day, The Little Nell offers a brunch called \u201cGolden Dawn\u201d that features a three-course seasonal menu, flowing champagne, and bottomless mimosas and bloody marys. Snowmass Village<\/strong><\/h3>\n

The Town of Snowmass Village is hosting its annual Torchlight Parade that will light up Fanny Hill, even if its fireworks show was canceled due to snow condition.\u00a0<\/p>\n

The Collective Snowmass hosts a festive, family friendly, New Year\u2019s Eve celebration from 7 to 10 pm featuring DJ Tenza, party favors, an East Coast ball drop at 10 p.m., and a complimentary champagne toast. The party will keep going with bites and drinks from Slope & Hatch, the newest addition to Base Village, serving up tacos, hot dogs, loaded fries, great beer, and craft cocktails.\u00a0<\/p>\n

Heather\u2019s in Snowmass will serve up a New Year\u2019s Eve dinner, handcrafted cocktails, a live performance by Wild Flight and a midnight champagne toast.\u00a0<\/p>\n

Rock Island Oyster Bar and Grill<\/a>\u00a0commemorates New Year\u2019s Eve with a party featuring live music and complimentary champagne at midnight. Reservations are highly recommended, and the kitchen is open late. Walk-ins are welcome and there is no entry fee.<\/p>\n

Basalt\u00a0<\/strong><\/h3>\n

Heather\u2019s in Basalt is offering a relaxed setting with Heather\u2019s signature cuisine, a full bar and live piano music by John Paul Riger at the piano to carry the evening into the New Year.<\/p>\n

Funk and soul band Cool Cool Cool plays a New Year\u2019s Eve show on Wednesday at The Arts Campus at Willits. Cool Cool Cool will be joined by DJ Yesmann. Doors at 8 p.m., show starts at 8:30 p.m. Tickets are $65 and are available at tacaw.org<\/a>.<\/p>\n

Carbondale<\/strong><\/h3>\n

El Dorado is ringing in the new year with local DJ Kordicimo, who has spent over 14 years as a DJ for all avenues of house music since he first fell in love with the genre in London\u2019s underground scene.
