Doechii<\/a> is closing out the year with a brand new song, “Girl, Get Up,” featuring SZA<\/a> \u2014\u00a0check it out above.<\/p>\n The new single arrives with an accompanying music video that shows the TDE rapper dancing and drinking champagne in a bikini on what seems to be a boat. SZA doesn\u2019t appear in the visual.<\/p>\n Addressing accusations that she’s an industry plant, Doechii spits: “All that industry plant shit wack \/ I see it on the blogs, I see you in the chats \/ ‘You suck every rap n***a dick from the back’ \/ But what\u2019s the agenda when the It girl Black?<\/em>“<\/p>\n She continues: “Y\u2019all can\u2019t fathom that I worked this hard \/ Y\u2019all can\u2019t fathom that I earned this chart \/ Y\u2019all can\u2019t stand my vibe \u2018cuz I\u2019m anointed \/ All y\u2019all evil ass hoes just annoying.<\/em>“<\/p>\n Doechii also posted new artwork to her story.<\/p>\n The two artists, who are both signed to TDE<\/a>, have had colossal years. In 2024, Doechii released her hit project, Alligator Bites Never Heal<\/em><\/a>, which peaked at No. 10 on the Billboard 200 albums chart, and for which she won the Grammy for Best Rap Album earlier this year.<\/p>\n As for SZA, she\u2019s still riding high off the release of her 2022 album, SOS<\/em><\/a>, which debuted at No. 1 on the Billboard 200 and remained atop the chart for 10 non-consecutive weeks. It climbed back to the top spot<\/a> following the release of her 2024 SOS<\/em> deluxe, Lana<\/em><\/a>.<\/p>\n
