Jennifer Aniston is showing a new level of openness in her relationship with Jim Curtis, according to a December 31 report from Us Weekly<\/em><\/u><\/a>. \u201cJen is more public with Jim because she feels confident in their relationship and where it\u2019s going,\u201d one source told the outlet. A second source added, \u201cThey are solidly in the \u2018This feels different\u2019 zone. There are no games, and there\u2019s no hiding.\u201d<\/p>\n

Us Weekly<\/em> reports that Aniston and the hypnotist<\/u><\/a> were introduced by a mutual friend and quietly began dating earlier this year. The first source described the relationship as a slow burn: \u201cIt\u2019s always a slow burn at first for Jen,\u201d they said, noting that she was initially cautious, but Curtis\u2019s \u201cconsistency\u201d helped her open up.<\/p>\n

The second source highlighted how their bond has grown, saying, \u201cAs time goes by, they uncover another layer about each other.\u201d The same source added, \u201cShe finally feels secure enough to share without any fear. According to the second Us Weekly<\/em> source, Curtis is comfortable with public attention. \u201cJim\u2019s whole career has been supported by working with high-profile people, so cameras and gossip don\u2019t rattle him. He\u2019s been around fame, so it\u2019s not shocking to him, but it also doesn\u2019t govern his life. He\u2019s down to earth,\u201d they said, adding that he and Aniston \u201care laughing about [the attention] instead of stressing over it.\u201d<\/p>\n

The second source added that Curtis helps Aniston \u201cfind balance\u201d and slow down from her typically busy schedule; they also share \u201ca weird sense of humor\u201d and enjoy similar hobbies, including watching documentaries and caring for rescue dogs. \u201cFriends say they finish each other\u2019s sentences in a way that\u2019s almost spooky because they are so connected,\u201d the first source said.<\/p>\n

Per Us Weekly<\/em>, the couple is navigating a bicoastal relationship, with Aniston in Los Angeles and Curtis in New York. Sources told the outlet that they travel back and forth together and spend extended periods in each other\u2019s cities as they work through the challenges of distance. \u201cThey are homebodies who value connection over flashy nights out,\u201d said the second source.<\/p>\n

As for marriage, the first source said Aniston isn\u2019t ruling it out, \u201cbut it\u2019s not a priority for her.\u201d They added, \u201cShe\u2019s loving this phase and is very happy.\u201d<\/p>\n
