The drama over the former Prince Andrew has been going on for so long, and yet it feels like it might never die down. Part of it is that the Epstein files have brought Andrew\u2019s relationship with a convicted sex offender back into the spotlight, and part of it is that the sheer scope of Andrew\u2019s depravity is only just starting to come to light. And then, of course, there is the fact that even though the disgraced royal was stripped of his titles and ordered to vacate Royal Lodge<\/a>, he is still there. He has yet to disappear from the public eye.<\/p>\n And some believe that, even after his upcoming move to Sandringham happens, the \u201clurid speculation\u201d won\u2019t stop. Royal author Robert Jobson told Hello!<\/a> <\/em>that, \u201cThe royals are hoping to draw a line under the Andrew Mountbouten-Windsor<\/a> controversy in 2026. He is\u00a0expected to move out of his Royal Lodge home\u00a0in Windsor for\u00a0a more modest property\u00a0on the King\u2019s private Sandringham estate,\u201d adding, \u201cWhether it ends the lurid speculation about him only time will tell, but it is doubtful.\u201d<\/p>\n More from StyleCaster<\/strong><\/p>\n Related:\u00a0<\/strong>Here\u2019s what each royal inherited from Queen Elizabeth<\/a><\/p>\n Let us all remember that, during that infamous 2019\u00a0Newsnight\u00a0<\/em>interview, Andrew<\/a> explicitly said that he did not regret his friendship with Epstein because it had some \u201cseriously beneficial outcomes\u201d when Andrew was working as a UK trade envoy.\u00a0He also lied about cutting ties with Epstein after allegations about him came out, with pictures of the two of them proving they were still in contact afterwards.<\/p>\n And, just recently, it was reported that in a newly released 2021 email<\/a>\u00a0from the Epstein files, Andrew allegedly asked Epstein accomplice Ghislaine Maxwell if she had \u201cfound me some new inappropriate friends.\u201d There was also a picture of him, Maxwell, and a group of unidentified victims at Sandringham.<\/p>\n The former prince has not been pictured in public since he was stripped of his titles, and he did not attend the royal family\u2019s Christmas celebrations, though his two daughters, Princess Beatrice and Princess Eugenie, were present at the family\u2019s Christmas walk. The two, however, were forced to avoid chatting with people in case they were asked about their father. Talk about awkward.<\/p>\n Reports indicate that Andrew\u2019s life will be changing soon as he moves to Sandringham, but that it might get even worse whenever William becomes King. Andrew Lownie, who wrote a biography about Andrew and his ex,\u00a0Sarah Ferguson<\/a>,\u00a0Entitled: The Rise and Fall of the House of York<\/em> told\u00a0Page Six<\/em><\/a>\u00a0in a recent interview, \u201cHe\u2019s worried about what\u2019s going to happen. He\u2019s going to be no longer protected. William is going to deal with him.\u201d<\/p>\n \u201cHe wants the stables cleaned \u2026 the window dressing is that Andrew will leave by the spring, and he\u2019s a good boy, and he\u2019s done what he\u2019s been told,\u201d he added.<\/p>\n According to Lownie, however, Andrew is rarely \u201ca good boy,\u201d with the royal expert predicting despite the fact that he\u2019s already agreed he will \u201cgo kicking and screaming,\u201d and only after making sure his demands are met, including a \u201cpretty big house, extensive staff, a gardener, a driver, a housekeeper [and] a cook.\u201d<\/p>\n Once at Sandringham, he will reportedly be expected to fade into obscurity.
