\n\tThe singers who voiced KPop Demon Hunters<\/a>\u2018 <\/em>demon-hunting trio Huntr\/x<\/a> \u2013 Ejae, Audrey Nuna, and Rei Ami \u2013 gave 2025 a \u201cGolden\u201d sendoff on Wednesday night, when they performed at Dick Clark\u2019s New Year\u2019s Rockin\u2019 Eve<\/em> in New York\u2019s Times Square. <\/p>\n

\n\tThe performance capped an incredible year for the women, who were instrumental in making the Netflix movie a juggernaut for the streaming service. Their song, \u201cGolden,\u201d was a breakout hit, topping Billboard\u2019s <\/em>Hot 100 for 18 nonconsecutive weeks. It was also Number One on charts around the world. The RIAA certified it double platinum in the United States. KPop Demon Hunters <\/em>also became the most-watched movie in Netflix\u2019s history.<\/p>\n

\n\t\u201cI feel like I experienced all facets of K-pop,\u201d Ejae told Rolling Stone<\/a> <\/em>after \u201cGolden\u201d became a runaway hit. \u201cI was a trainee, I became a songwriter, I also vocal directed for K-pop idols.\u00a0So I really resonated with [the KPop Demon Hunters<\/em> character] Rumi. She\u2019s such a perfectionist and trying to hide her shame, hide her flaws. And that\u2019s a huge part of when you\u2019re training. You\u2019re trying to put your best foot forward. \u2018Golden\u2019 really means a lot to me, because I feel like at that time, I needed a song like that.\u201d<\/p>\n
