The Philadelphia Orchestra presents Disney\u2019s \u201cFantasia\u201d in concert Friday through Sunday at Marian Anderson Hall in the Kimmel Center. Performances are at 7:30 p.m. Friday and at 2 on Saturday and Sunday. The program features music from \u201cFantasia\u201d and its sequel, \u201cFantasia 2000\u201d performed live to film. The touring Broadway musical \u201cSuffs\u201d will be at the Academy of Music in Philadelphia starting Tuesday and continuing through Jan. 18.\u00a0 The show tells the story of the brilliant, passionate and funny American women who fought tirelessly for the right to vote. Created by Shaina Taub, the first woman to independently win Tony Awards for Best Book and Best Score in the same season, this new musical explores the triumphs and failures of a struggle for equality that\u2019s far from over. Three Kings Day<\/h4>\n

Ensemble Arts Philly will present its family-oriented celebration of Three Kings Day, or Dia de los Reyes Magos,\u201d on Wednesday at the Kimmel Center\u2019s Commonwealth Plaza, event held annually at the Kimmel Center in the month of January since 2014. This tradition honors the visit of the Three Wise Men\u00a0 to baby Jesus, bringing gifts of gold, frankincense, and myrrh. Just as Santa Claus brings gifts in other cultures, the Wise Men or Reyes Magos bring presents to children in Mexico and other Latin American countries. During this event, children can write letters to the Three Kings, enjoy performances, break pi\u00f1atas and much more. All attendees get to sample Rosca de Reyes bread and warm Mexican chocolate. Newtown Theatre<\/h4>\n

On Saturday at 8 p.m., The Newtown Theatre in Bucks County presents Michael Patrick\u2019s Ring of Fire Band paying tribute to Johnny Cash, one of the most influential musicians of the 20th century. Patrick and his band have spent more than a decade performing Cash\u2019s hits, and some of its members have shared the stage with some of Cash\u2019s family members.<\/p>\n

On Tuesday at 7:30 the theater is screening \u201cThe Secret Life of Walter Mitty\u201d starring Ben Stiller. On Wednesday at 7:30 there will be a \u201cpay what you wish\u201d screening of Frank Capra\u2019s 1934 classic comedy \u201cIt Happened One Night\u201d starring Clark Gable and Claudette Colbert.<\/p>\n
