The Royal Family\u2019s love of gardening and the outdoors will bring
\na big change to one of their favourite homes in 2026. For the first
\ntime, Sandringham House in Norfolk will host a special garden show
\norganised by one of the most famous organisations in the
\ncountry.<\/p>\n
In July 2026, the RHS will add the royal residence to its
\ngrowing list of ever popular garden shows. The event at Sandringham
\nruns from July 22 and is sure to attract royal attention.<\/p>\n
The King and Queen are regulars at the Chelsea Flower Show, held
\nin May every year, and Charles III has a major role within the RHS
\nthat was cemented with a special gift last year.<\/p>\n
King Charles has received a green gift that most gardeners can
\nonly dream of- the Royal Horticultural Society has presented The
\nKing with a new Royal Signature.\u00a0<\/p>\n
The RHS announced in 2024 that King Charles would be the new
\nRoyal Patron, following his late mother. A lifetime gardener, His
\nMajesty was a more than appropriate fit for the role.\u00a0<\/p>\n
In July 2025, the RHS shared a new Royal Signature created for
\nthe King; a Royal Signature is a botanical painting created for a
\nspecific event or moment.\u00a0<\/p>\n
Botanical artist Gillian Barlow and calligrapher Timothy Noad
\nMBE collaborated on the new painting celebrating The King\u2019s new
\nrole.\u00a0<\/p>\n

\ncoral, crimson, purple, and mauve. It also includes some of The
\nKing\u2019s favourite plants, including Geranium sanguineum<\/em>,
\nMagnolia campbellii<\/em>, Narcissus<\/em> \u2018Jetfire\u2019, and
\ncrocus.\u00a0<\/p>\n
\nwith the first Royal Signature created in 1816 for Queen Charlotte.
\nIt will be displayed to the public in 2026 at the first ever RHS
\nFlower Show at the Sandringham Estate.\u00a0<\/p>\n
