Kelly Osbourne<\/a><\/span> <\/strong>is mourning the death of longtime friend and celebrity makeup artist Jasen Kaplan<\/strong>.<\/p>\n

\u201cI\u2019m devastated. I love you so much @JasenKaplan,\u201d Osbourne, 41, wrote via her Instagram Story on Thursday, January 1. \u201cThank you for all the love, laughter and joy you brought [to] my life. I hope you are at peace now. Life will never be the same without you! RIP my dear friend.\u201d<\/p>\n

Kaplan passed away in New York City on Wednesday, December 31, Page Six<\/span><\/a> reported. A cause of death has yet to be revealed.<\/p>\n

\u201c@JasenKaplan I promise to make sure Coco is always looked after,\u201d Osbourne wrote in a separate Instagram Story while sharing a photo of Kaplan in bed with his dog. \u201cI will forever miss our late night FaceTimes!\u201d<\/p>\n

\n\t\t\tKelly Osbourne paid tribute to her late father, Ozzy Osbourne, ahead of her first birthday without him. Osbourne, who turned 41 on Monday, October 27, shared a carousel of photos of herself and her dad via Instagram hours before the official start of her birthday. \u201cTomorrow is going to be a first for me. The [\u2026]\t\t<\/p>\n<\/div>\n

The former Fashion Police<\/i> cohost went on to post some of her favorite memories with Kaplan, including a day when he dressed up as Osbourne.<\/p>\n

\u201cNo one was as funny as you!\u201d she wrote. \u201cYou were the best wing man a girl could ask for. 25 years of friendship and every second was worth it.\u201d<\/p>\n

The New York Police Department told Page Six on Thursday that they\u2019re investigating the death of a 46-year-old man at Kaplan\u2019s apartment building and that the chief medical examiner will determine the cause of death.<\/p>\n

Kaplan had a successful career as a makeup artist working with a variety of celebrities, including Cyndi Lauper<\/strong>, Eva Longoria<\/strong> and Lynda Carter<\/strong>.<\/p>\n

When The Real Housewives of New York City<\/i><\/span><\/a> alum Tinsley Mortimer<\/strong> married Robert Bovard<\/strong> in November 2023, she called Kaplan to do her glam.<\/p>\n

\u201cOne of my best friends found the love of her life. A true fairytale,\u201d Kaplan wrote via Instagram<\/span><\/a> in November 2023. \u201cI was so blessed to be part of her special day. I love you @tinsleymortimer \ud83d\udc96 #MakeupByMe.\u201d<\/p>\n

More recently, Kaplan had the chance to work with Bethenny Frankel<\/strong> on numerous campaigns with brands like MCoBeauty and Terez clothing.<\/p>\n

In September 2024, Kaplan also traveled to Paris with Frankel on a special work getaway that he described as a \u201ctrip of a lifetime.\u201d<\/p>\n
