Police body cam reveals during Todd Snider\u2019s arrest in Salt Lake City <\/a>that the country music singer had to tell officers he wasn\u2019t homeless.<\/p>\n

Fox 13<\/a>, which obtained the video, reports the singer-songwriter told police multiple times he is \u201cfamous\u201d and lives in Nashville.<\/p>\n

According to the report, Snider returned to the hospital after being discharged earlier in the day.<\/p>\n

Police responded to a disturbance involving a man hospital staff described as \u201cloud,\u201d \u201cobnoxious\u201d and allegedly threatening to \u201ckick\u201d a staffer\u2019s (expletive).<\/p>\n

As officers cuffed the 59-year-old Snider, he said, \u201cI can\u2019t wait to tell you my story.\u201d<\/p>\n

In the video, he explains he was mugged.<\/p>\n

\u201cI\u2019m not homeless,\u201d he said. \u201cI live in Nashville. I have a band. I\u2019m famous.\u201d<\/p>\n

Snider was charged with disorderly conduct, threat of violence and criminal trespassing.<\/p>\n

Earlier this month, Snider \u201csustained severe injuries\u201d as a result of a \u201cviolent assault\u201d <\/a>and has canceled his \u201cHigh, Lonesome and Then Some\u201d tour. The singer\/songwriter was assaulted outside of his hotel in Salt Lake City, Utah.<\/p>\n

The news was shared via post to his Instagram.<\/p>\n

\u201cWe are heartbroken to announce the cancellation of the High, Lonesome and Then Some 2025 Tour dates,\u201d the statement read<\/a>. \u201cAhead of Todd Snider\u2019s show in Salt Lake City, Todd sustained severe injuries as the victim of a violent assault outside of his hotel.<\/p>\n

\u201cTodd will be unable to perform for an undetermined amount of time. We deeply apologize for the cancellation and any inconvenience it causes. We appreciate your understanding as Todd receives needed medical treatment. We hope to have more information on new dates soon.\u201d<\/p>\n<\/div>\n
