U2 also made headlines in 2023 and 2024 with an acclaimed residency at the Sphere in Las Vegas. Bono said the new album could also mean a tour later this year, which marks the 50th anniversary of U2\u2019s formation.<\/p>\n
\u201cI hope they\u2019re going to still be there for us,\u201d Bono told Esquire of the band\u2019s fans. \u201cWe\u2019ve pushed them to their elastic limit over the years. And now it\u2019s a long time that we\u2019ve been away. But I still think that we can create a soundtrack for people who want to take on the world.\u201d<\/p>\n<\/div>\n
