Kelsea Ballerini<\/a> and Chase Stokes are dating once again. <\/p>\n The duo rekindled their relationship after what Ballerini called a \u201cmessy year for the heart\u201d on her Instagram Story, PEOPLE reported. <\/p>\n The country music<\/a> star also called 2025 a \u201cmessy year for the outside coming in\u201d and a \u201cmessy year for the way it became an out of our hands portrayal of it\u201d on her story, which featured a picture of her and Stokes kissing.<\/p>\n The \u201cOuter Banks\u201d star also confirmed that he and Ballerini were back together in a Dec. 31 Instagram post<\/a>. <\/p>\n \u201cSomething I\u2019ve learned this year: don\u2019t take advantage of the most beautiful things that in 33 years of life are fleeting,\u201d Stokes wrote in the caption.<\/p>\n \u201cTake accountability, learn from mistakes. Happy new years.\u201d<\/p>\n The post included photos of Stokes and Ballerini kissing and hugging as well as other highlights from the actor\u2019s year. <\/p>\n The celebrity<\/a> couple was first rumored to be dating in January 2023 after they started messaging on social media, USA TODAY reported<\/a>. Ballerini and Stokes made their red carpet debut at the CMT Music Awards in April 2023. <\/p>\n In September 2025, PEOPLE confirmed<\/a> that the couple had split after nearly three years together<\/a>. Ballerini and Stokes both hinted at their status on social media in the following weeks. <\/p>\n \u201cDon\u2019t believe the media.
