Beyond the fact that he dropped his self-titled, fifth studio album back in June to commercial and critical success, the Texas native also scored huge career milestones, performing at President Donald Trump\u2019s inaugural ball in January and co-hosting <em>Better Together Texas<\/em> and <a rel=\"nofollow\" target=\"_blank\" href=\"https:\/\/www.whiskeyriff.com\/2025\/08\/18\/miranda-lambert-parker-mccollum-raise-8-5-million-flood-relief-benefit\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\"><strong>raising over $8.5 million<\/strong><\/a> for flood relief with Miranda Lambert in August.<\/p>\n<p>Originally, many thought McCollum was setting his eyes on 2026 in the form of a short but sweet, 14-show tour spanning from January to March, as announced along with fellow Texan and red dirt superstar, <a rel=\"nofollow\" target=\"_blank\" href=\"https:\/\/www.whiskeyriff.com\/tag\/randy-rogers\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\"><strong>Randy Rogers<\/strong><\/a>.<\/p>\n<p>With that being said, however, the \u201cStoned\u201d singer decided to plot out his entire year of 2026 early with the announcement of a <strong><a rel=\"nofollow\" target=\"_blank\" href=\"https:\/\/www.whiskeyriff.com\/2025\/11\/14\/parker-mccollum-announces-extended-2026-tour-dates-featuring-josh-abbott-gary-allan-jake-worthington-more\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">full, 44-show tour<\/a><\/strong> stretching from January to September, featuring a revolving door of special guests throughout, including the likes of Jake Worthington, Max McNown, Laci Kaye Booth, Gary Allan, Josh Abbott Band and many more.<\/p>\n<p>As time passes, it seems as if 2026 is looking to be McCollum\u2019s biggest (and busiest) year to date from multiple different aspects.<\/p>\n<p>If you recall, back on Christmas, the 33-year-old singer\/songwriter announced that he and his wife, Hallie Ray, are expecting their second child, a boy, who\u2019s expected this summer.<\/p>\n<p><em><strong>\u201cMcCollum party of 4 next Christmas!!!! another BOY joining us summer 2026!!! Recapping his sold-out New Year\u2019s Eve show at Dickie\u2019s Arena in Fort Worth, Texas, he would upload multiple images from the concert. However, it was his caption that turned heads.<\/p>\n<p>In addition to telling fans how excited he was for his extremely busy 2026, he would note that new music is coming \u201cvery very soon.\u201d<\/p>\n<p><em><strong>\u201cRang in the new year with a Sold Out show at Dickies Arena in Fort Worth, TX! Ready to kick ass in 2026! New year new level! <\/strong><\/em><em><strong>P.s. and new music coming very very soon\u201d<\/strong><\/em><\/p>\n<blockquote class=\"instagram-media\" data-instgrm-captioned=\"\" data-instgrm-permalink=\"https:\/\/www.instagram.com\/p\/DS_DbB5EsXs\/?utm_source=ig_embed&amp;utm_campaign=loading\" data-instgrm-version=\"14\" style=\" background:#FFF; border:0; border-radius:3px; box-shadow:0 0 1px 0 rgba(0,0,0,0.5),0 1px 10px 0 rgba(0,0,0,0.15); margin: 1px; max-width:658px; min-width:326px; padding:0; width:99.375%; width:-webkit-calc(100% - 2px); width:calc(100% - 2px);\">\n<\/blockquote>\n<p>Obviously, it\u2019s hard to tell what exactly McCollum means by \u201cnew music.\u201d Given that he just released his self-titled album back in June and typically follows a two-year album-release schedule, I wouldn\u2019t expect a full-length project from McCollum early in the year (or any time this year).<\/p>\n<p>With that being said, the \u201cHell of a Year\u201d singer could be hinting towards the official release of <a rel=\"nofollow\" target=\"_blank\" href=\"https:\/\/www.whiskeyriff.com\/2025\/11\/24\/parker-mccollum-teases-new-piano-ballad-jet-plane-fans-are-already-begging-for-it-to-be-released\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\"><strong>\u201cJet Plane,\u201d<\/strong><\/a> a piano-ballad he wrote in August of 2024 and recently teased back in November, which had many fans begging for studio version.<\/p>\n<p>Regardless, it looks like we\u2019ll just have to wait and see what McCollum has in store for an already jam-packed 2026 ahead of him.
