He was the same exact person that I&#8217;ve known,&#8221; Green told Rosenbaum. &#8220;And all of a sudden I got a call and it was like, &#8216;Hey, he&#8217;s in the hospital. He had a stroke last night.&#8217; And then two days later, &#8216;Yeah, he didn&#8217;t make it.&#8217; Like, what? What? You&#8217;re kidding, right? I&#8217;m being like punked right now? Green noted that he was aware his time was precious with Doherty, who portrayed the mercurial Brenda Walsh on <em>90210,<\/em> as she &#8220;had Stage Four for a long time.&#8221;<\/p>\n<p class=\"mb-4 text-lg md:leading-8 break-words\">&#8220;It wasn&#8217;t in the front of my mind, but there was always that thing in the back of my mind of appreciate all of these moments because you don&#8217;t know how many more you&#8217;re going to get,&#8221; Green, who played David Silver on the iconic teen drama, said. &#8220;So yeah, just enjoy all of this time that&#8217;s left.&#8221;<\/p>\n<p class=\"mb-4 text-lg md:leading-8 break-words\">Doherty had a special place in Green&#8217;s heart, much like Perry. &#8220;She used to dance with me and my friends in my dressing room when we had time off, which we had a lot of,&#8221; he wistfully recalled. &#8220;And, she was super fun.
