Manatee County Fair, one of the first big Florida fairs of the year, will return midway through January as well. Then there&#8217;ll be plenty of the concerts, comedy shows, stage productions, art exhibitions and other events our area hosts year-round.<\/p>\n<p>Here are more than 100 events taking place in Sarasota, Manatee and Charlotte counties in January, listed in roughly chronological order. The event was produced by Paragon Festivals and hosted by the Downtown Sarasota Enrichment Association with the Humane Society of Sarasota County the event's special guest. All kinds of seafood, meat and vegetarian selections were cooked fresh onsite along with lots of shopping for arts and crafts. There were eleven bands that performed throughout the weekend.
