Koe Wetzel<\/a><\/strong> fans are in for new music next year, with the singer revealing on a new episode of Country Countdown USA<\/em><\/a> that he\u2019s got \u201cpiles and piles of new music\u201d set to drop in 2026.<\/p>\n \u201cWe\u2019re coming,\u201d Wetzel told Country Countdown USA<\/em> host Lon Helton, sharing that he\u2019ll be working on even more new music after the holidays. The singer\/songwriter called 2025 a \u201crebuild year\u201d for him, as he went on tour with HARDY and got in the studio to \u201ccut as much music as possible.\u201d The result was \u201cone hell of a record,\u201d which fans will get to hear next year.<\/p>\n \u201cEvery artist is going to say that their newest record\u2019s the best one that they\u2019ve ever done,\u201d Wetzel noted. \u201cBut for me, this batch of songs and this sound that we\u2019ve kind of come together with, it\u2019s awesome. This whole new sound to me has continued, and it\u2019s, I don\u2019t know, we\u2019re really excited about it.\u201d<\/p>\n Wetzel\u2019s most recent album was 2024\u2019s 9 Lives<\/em>, and he\u2019s stayed busy in the interim, teaming with Corey Kent this year on their collaboration \u201cRocky Mountain Low.\u201d \u201cIt\u2019s been a fun year, man,\u201d Wetzel told Helton. \u201cBut like I said, it\u2019s been a rebuilding and getting ready for \u201926, and we\u2019re really excited for \u201926 and can\u2019t wait for everybody to hear all the new music.\u201d<\/p>\n 9 Lives<\/em> contained Wetzel\u2019s duet with Jessie Murph, \u201cHigh Road,\u201d which was the No. 1 country song for all of 2025. It was the most-played song on U.S. country radio for the entire year and marked Wetzel\u2019s first major country radio No. 1. \u201cHigh Road\u201d actually topped the country charts in December 2024, but its continued popularity at radio kept the song going strong throughout 2025 to make it the most-played country track of the year.<\/p>\n \u201cIt\u2019s pretty wild,\u201d Wetzel admitted of the accomplishment. \u201cIt was our first stab at country radio and to have it go off like that was, I think, kind of shocking to everybody, myself included.
