The Lyncourt bar, known for regularly featuring live music, said it will feature \u201ca blowout slate of shows next weekend\u201d to help say goodbye.<\/p>\n<p class=\"article__paragraph article__paragraph--left\" id=\"N65VFBWUPBF2FGGAVWSXWFCY6Q\">\u201cThis has been an incredible run and it\u2019s not over,\u201d The Jugg on Teall\u2019s Facebook page <a rel=\"nofollow\" target=\"_blank\" href=\"https:\/\/www.facebook.com\/share\/p\/1Cy28hHVPb\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"\" title=\"https:\/\/www.facebook.com\/share\/p\/1Cy28hHVPb\/\">said<\/a>. \u201cThere are so many people to thank from our frontline of dedicated employees who have done their best to hold this dream together over these difficult final months to all of the artist who have come through here and contributed to creating this living, breathing space for Rock \u2019n\u2019 Roll to not only exist, but where it was literally conceived, polished, birthed, and performed on what we believe is a legendary stage. And of course, to our loyal patrons who have become so much more, a family. The JUGG Family. So, this, you see, can never actually end. A family, indeed this whole Rock \u2019n\u2019 Roll community that\u2019s converged right here in Lyncourt, that embraced us will come with us wherever next we go. The JUGG Family stays together.\u201d<\/p>\n<p class=\"article__paragraph article__paragraph--left\" id=\"MFXSU7MZ3VBA7E3ODM3J43R4AE\">The announcement comes less than two months after The Jugg <a rel=\"nofollow\" target=\"_blank\" href=\"https:\/\/www.syracuse.com\/entertainment\/2025\/11\/mudvayne-guitarist-more-to-play-rock-concert-to-help-syracuse-venue-owner.html\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"\" title=\"https:\/\/www.syracuse.com\/entertainment\/2025\/11\/mudvayne-guitarist-more-to-play-rock-concert-to-help-syracuse-venue-owner.html\">hosted a music festival to raise money for Jesse Buckley<\/a>, who co-owns the venue with his wife Aimee. Also known as \u201cBuck\u201d and \u201cCoach AutoTune,\u201d Jesse was diagnosed with stage 3 voice box cancer (laryngeal cancer) and his treatment and medical bills left them struggling to keep the business alive.<\/p>\n<p class=\"article__paragraph article__paragraph--left\" id=\"3W5M35NDGBAZRCO5ZJRZQG66RE\">\u201cWith Coach\u2019s health the priority, we need to take a break and regroup. Because this doesn\u2019t exist without him,\u201d The Jugg\u2019s Facebook page said. \u201cHe\u2019s dedicated every one of those 40+ years, starting as drummer, then a funder, a manager, a hustler, the very dreamer who never gave up, the man who gave this community of artists a blank canvas to draw on and a playground that was safe, accepting, and a little off kilter to run free, be supported, and express their art without limits or censors or rules. So, you better believe we\u2019re not giving up.\u201d<\/p>\n<p class=\"article__paragraph article__paragraph--left\" id=\"4MY7FD7HWREEVMP2LECARR3ZQM\">The announcement said other factors in the decision included \u201can untenable situation with our landlord and lease&#8230; a s&#8212;-y parking situation [and] not much in the way of community support even though we kept this corner safer than it\u2019s ever been.\u201d<\/p>\n<p class=\"article__paragraph article__paragraph--left\" id=\"5BS2A4XVPNB4NM7Q6PHOWWTO2Y\">\u201cHowever, this is not the end of The JUGG itself. This is simply the end of this chapter on Teall Avenue,\u201d the venue\u2019s Facebook page insisted. \u201cWe\u2019ll be back. Not quite sure when, but lean in, believe in. We\u2019ll do it again.\u201d<\/p>\n<p class=\"article__paragraph article__paragraph--left\" id=\"XQE553MPEZF3VKVUDXM7ZGDQJ4\">The Jugg on Teall is located at 2026 Teall Ave, Syracuse, N.Y.
