James Gunn has made a major confession about his 2025 Superman<\/i>. <\/p>\n

The director revealed that the superhero reboot was the most challenging project of his career.<\/p>\n

The 59-year-old said he had his doubts before finding the right actor to wear the cape.<\/p>\n

Speaking on the Variety Awards Circuit Podcast, <\/i>James said while Guardians of the Galaxy<\/i> was second most difficult one, Superman <\/i>remans the most tricky one so far.<\/p>\n

\u201cThis was the hardest movie I\u2019ve ever made. The next hardest was probably the first Guardians. With Guardians, you were building a corner of the universe that felt completely different from everything else Marvel was doing at the time.\u201d, he said.<\/p>\n

\u201cHere, I was reorienting something everyone already thinks they understand. Strangely, it\u2019s the most comic-book-driven thing I\u2019ve ever done. More than any of my other superhero films.\u201d, he added.<\/p>\n

James eventually found David Corenswet as his superman after Henry Cavil had played the role for long. <\/p>\n

The movie went on to be a hit and quickly became a fan favourite rendition of the flying superhero.<\/p>\n<\/p><\/div>\n
