I mentioned the Chanel event in New York earlier in my Blake Lively post<\/a> and you know who else was there? Oh just the coolest couple in Hollywood, Celine Song and Justin Kuritzkes. Celine of course wrote and directed Past Lives,<\/em> and is currently promoting her follow-up, which she also wrote and directed, Materialists,<\/em> starring Dakota Johnson, Pedro Pascal, and Chris Evans.\u00a0<\/p>\n

Justin Kuritzkes may not be a household name but I guarantee you know his work. Because he wrote Challengers<\/em>, starring Zendaya, and also adapted Queer<\/em>, starring Daniel Craig, both directed by Luca Guadagnino. He\u2019s about to collaborate again with Luca on Sgt Rock<\/em>, with Colin Farrell apparently interested in the lead role<\/a>. Justin has another film in development with Austin Butler attached called City on Fire.\u00a0<\/em><\/p>\n

So between the two of them, it\u2019s a power couple, only they\u2019re too f-cking cool to be called a power couple because sh-t like that probably doesn\u2019t matter to them. But, seriously, this is literally the Challengers-Past Lives-Materialists-Queer <\/em>universe! It definitely matters to us, right?!<\/p>\n

I have more to say about Celine because I\u2019m obsessed with her but I\u2019ll save it for later this week as we get closer to the release of Materialists.\u00a0<\/em><\/p>\n
