After making his MCU debut in Black Panther<\/a> (2018), Michael B. Jordan<\/a> learned the importance of separating himself from his characters\u2019 mindset.<\/p>\n

The Golden Globe nominee explained that his Wakandan antagonist Erik Killmonger \u201cdidn\u2019t really know a lot of love,\u201d which prompted him to get therapy after completing production on the Ryan Coogler<\/a>-helmed blockbuster.<\/p>\n

\u201cI think Erik didn\u2019t experience that,\u201d he said on CBS<\/a> Sunday Morning. \u201cHe had a lot of betrayal, a lot of failed systems around him that shaped him and his anger and his frustration.\u201d<\/p>\n
