Mickey Rourke<\/strong><\/a> has reportedly turned to crowdfunding to avoid being evicted from his Los Angeles home.<\/p>\n

The Wrestler<\/em> star, 73, \u201capproved\u201d a GoFundMe page<\/a> that aims to pay an alleged \u201c$59,100\u201d rental bill, per a Sunday, January 4, article published by The Hollywood Reporter<\/em><\/a>.<\/p>\n

The GoFundMe page was created by Liya Joelle-Jones<\/strong> from Bantam, Connecticut, with the \u201cfriend and member of Rourke\u2019s management team\u201d detailing her intentions during an interview with the outlet. \u201cMickey is going through a very difficult time right now, and it\u2019s been incredibly touching to see how many people care about him and want to help,\u201d Joelle-Jones said.<\/p>\n

Per reporting by the Los Angeles Times<\/em> last month, the actor was issued a \u201cthree-day eviction notice\u201d on December 18, 2025, after signing a lease on the property in March of last year for \u201c$5,200 per month.\u201d The outlet noted that Rourke\u2019s rent was allegedly later raised to $7,000 per month.<\/p>\n

According to another report by Fox News<\/a> published on Thursday, January 1, Rourke\u2019s landlord, Eric Goldie<\/strong>, filed a lawsuit with the Los Angeles Superior Court on December 29, 2025, after Rourke failed to pay the alleged rental bill. Goldie is now also reportedly seeking \u201ccompensation for damages and attorney fees.\u201d<\/p>\n

At the time of this article\u2019s publication, the GoFundMe page had raised just under $29,000 in donations from more than 693 people.<\/p>\n
