href=\"https:\/\/www.thecut.com\/article\/ashley-tisdale-french-mom-group-mean-girls-parenting.html\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">scathing essay for The Cut<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p>The former Disney Channel star reflected on feeling \u201cnot cool enough\u201d after being excluded from hang outs in Thursday\u2019s piece.<\/p>\n<figure class=\"nyp-slideshow-modal-image wp-block-image aligncenter \u2018wrong\u2019 to be left out.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>The actress, 40, went on to text the group, \u201cThis is too high school for me and I don\u2019t want to take part in it anymore.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Although she \u201cnever considered the moms to be bad people [except for] maybe one,\u201d she chose to cut ties with them after the \u201cdynamic stopped being healthy and rel=\"nofollow\" target=\"_blank\" href=\"https:\/\/pagesix.com\/2021\/03\/24\/ashley-tisdale-gives-birth-welcomes-1st-child-with-christopher-french\/\">daughter Jupiter<\/a>, 4, and <a rel=\"nofollow\" target=\"_blank\" href=\"https:\/\/pagesix.com\/2024\/09\/07\/parents\/ashley-tisdale-gives-birth-to-second-baby-with-husband-christopher-french\/\">daughter Emerson<\/a>, 1, with <a rel=\"nofollow\" target=\"_blank\" href=\"https:\/\/pagesix.com\/2014\/09\/10\/ashley-tisdale-marries-fiance-christopher-french\/\">husband Christopher French<\/a>, previously wrote about the estrangement that \u201cbrought [her] to tears\u201d in a candid <a rel=\"nofollow\" target=\"_blank\" href=\"https:\/\/byashleyfrench.com\/blogs\/the-journal\/youre-allowed-to-leave-your-mom-group\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">blog post<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p>She railed against the \u201cugly\u201d group\u2019s \u201cmean girl behavior\u201d and isolation, which left her feeling \u201churt, drained and left out\u201d over time.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cI realized that there were group text chains that didn\u2019t include everyone, which led to cliques forming within the larger group,\u201d she explained. \u201cAnd after the third or fourth time of seeing social media photos of everyone else at a hangout that I didn\u2019t get invited to, it felt like I wasn\u2019t really part of the group after all.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>While the \u201cHigh School Musical\u201d star did not name members of the group on either occasion, she no longer follows Duff, 38, and Moore, 41, on Instagram \u2014 although she does still follow Trainor, 32.<\/p>\n<figure class=\"nyp-slideshow-modal-image wp-block-image aligncenter size-large\"><figcaption>Tisdale was \u201cbrought to tears\u201d when the group group has been making headlines for years.<\/p>\n<p>Duff gushed about having a close-knit crew to be \u201cin the trenches with\u201d while <a rel=\"nofollow\" target=\"_blank\" href=\"https:\/\/people.com\/hilary-duff-friendship-moms-mandy-moore-meghan-trainor-exclusive-8766082\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">speaking to People<\/a> about their bond in December 2024.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cI feel like our big connection to one another, even though we\u2019re pop stars or on TV, is we love our kids,\u201d the \u201cLizzie McGuire\u201d alum raved at the time. \u201cThey were little baby worms when we all first got together and started music class at my house.<\/p>\n<figure class=\"nyp-slideshow-modal-image wp-block-image aligncenter
